Ty Law

10 interceptions last year.......
Ty Law has been to Hawaii a half dozen times. Yeagh - He sucks:laugh2:

That's idiotic. The pro bowl has nothing to do with the type of season that someone had.

Besides, quality corners rarely get a ton of picks because teams don't throw on them (see Newman, T.). Law brought back memories of Elvis "Toast" Patterson.

The only thing I'd worry about with a CB whos got 10 ints on a year is that QB's were seeing something there they could exploit, unless he was pulling a true Deion and picking off about every 5th ball thrown his direction.

But it doesn't matter, because Law is going to want too much money and probably for too long for us to bother going after.

We didn't sign much last year, and I think it worked out just fine. ;)

you fellas didn't have much on the injury front until G Randy Thomas went down... staying healthy helps a lot... see Flozell and untimely OL crash in Big D...

next year will be interesting though for all in the NFCE... you guys gonna miss LaVar or what? Antonio P. was lost last year... this year is Arrington... who's next LB Washington?

I bet I don't start a Ty LAW THREAD BUT ONCE EVERY 3 MONTHS!

Go sign him. I love all the attempts to beat down a corner with 10 picks! tHats funny. I wonder how many CB's with 10 picks in a season and multiple Pro Bowls on resume are not in Hall of fame?

$10M SB is about right - So we can have him around my number - $4M cap hit. Thats peanuts for one of the foremost thieving and shutin downfield enforcers in the game.:laugh2:

So what are your odds on him coming in for an interview?

Greater than 50/50?

Going to make the $ with CBA

Go gas er up JJ - Time to go get Ty Law at FS

It would definitely be a match made in heaven, I just have to wonder Nors...would Law really come to Big D and accept a role as a safety, also for possibly less money?

At this point in his career another team might be stupid to pay him big money to play DB, but then again with Nate Clements off the market....Law might be able to command it.

$2 to $2.5 million a year plus the $10 million signing bonus on a most likely 3 year contract. That is a $5.3 to $5.8 cap hit a year. And that is if Law doesn't want more money, which he may.

You always respond to people bashing Law as a corner. You never address whether Law will definitly play FS. Not can he, but will he. Sure other guys have done it in the past, but that doesn't mean Law wants to do it. It is a big assumption on your part that Law wants to play FS. Especially if he thinks as highly of himself as a corner as you do. With you as his agent, he may just want to stay a cornerback and command more money from a team.

I also don't buy that Law wants to win now and doesn't care as much about the money. If that were the case he would have never left the Patriots or he would have signed with another of the favorites in the league this past season.

Here we go again. I still see 3 major issues that haven't been addressed yet...

1) Why would he want to come to Dallas for just a reasonable contract? Last year was our best shot as he was coming off injury, he's looking for big $$$ now.
2) Why would be want to move to FS when he's coming off a very good season at CB?
3) He's still represented by the Postons, and Jerry and BP do not deal with them (thank God).
