Not a fan of this. Really think Smith's upside at guard is as high as All Pro at some point. I liked him in the middle with guys like Vea and Davis on the schedule.

I see him being our best option at LT but would prefer a vet or let one of the other two play it and help them. I see Smith's potential at LT significantly less than G. Hope i am wrong.

That tweet says no one from the team has made a definitive declaration, but he is expected to play LT.

He is expected to, by the media, it sounds like to me.

I see nothing from the team in those tweets that confirms he’ll play LT. Only that he is cleared to practice.

The team still hasn’t said he’s starting at LT. Just the media is saying he’s “expected” to start there. The tweet doesn’t say the team said that.

He still might stay at LG.
