Short video showing our 2022 #1 pick blowing up our 2019 #2 pick. Hill has to be on bust watch- and not just because of this one video.

Several reports from Cowboys beat writers Clarence Hill and David Moore have said Hill has been less than stellar so far this summer. It’s early- first day in pads. But the clock has to be ticking for Trysten Hill.

Given our track record with 2nd rounders, we should just trade them for a good veteran player every season. Start now by using our 2023 2nd by trading for a WR or CB or DE or DT or LB. Lol

Excited about Tyler Smith though. I think he’s the real deal.

They’ve gotten good players in the 2nd round though.

I truly think he gets called for that one.
Correct, or not.
I can see a ref only noticing this out of the corner of his eye and think "of course that's holding".
Out comes the yella.

Not sure why Hill is still on this roster.
If he was a 6th rounder he would of probably already been gone.

Not good when 3 years into your career (at a position that the team has been weak on during that entire time) and all your known for is being a healthy scratch, falling asleep during a team meeting, and punching someone after a game

They said despite this play, he was disruptive on several others. But I don't think he makes the roster. He's too hit and miss (mostly miss).
Gotcha. IMO, he was never NFL caliber.

From what I can see, I don't think it should be, but anytime you take a defender to the ground, there's a good chance of it being called.
Yeah, I don’t think it was but who knows? Taking a defender to the ground is different when your putting them on their back. Pulling to the ground will get the flag every time. Pancaking them is different IMO, as far as refs go.

Agreed. The fact that he folded Hill might save him on that, but I've seen Tyron pancake a defender before (on a few occasions) and get called for holding.
