Several reports from Cowboys beat writers Clarence Hill and David Moore have said Hill has been less than stellar so far this summer. It’s early- first day in pads. But the clock has to be ticking for Trysten Hill.

I can see a ref only noticing this out of the corner of his eye and think "of course that's holding".
Out comes the yella.

Yes, they would definitely call that. Almost always when a blocker and defender go to the ground, the blocker gets called for holding.

At some point between about 1999 and 2009, what had previously been a pancake block became holding.
- I can't remember the exact year, but I detest the rule.
