dude, not using your turn signals can cause accidents. He has no right to be pissed about that.
and then going off on the cops and he bleats about being treated like the idiot he is?
Dude, basically doing anything not paying attention to the road can cause an accident while driving.

I looked, it is considered reckless driving if you don't use your turn signal in Florida.

I'm sorry, but if that is why they pulled him over (no turn signal) and he was going the speed limit, they (the police) saw a black guy driving a very expensive car and it gave them a reason to go fishing. Happens ALL the time, generally the reality is if this was any other black guy driving, it's not really worth the news per a news organization.

It's easy to crucify a rich football player, but it can be just as easy to crucify a LEO on a power trip abusing his authority if it seems news worthy enough, and being Hill is a NFL star, no doubt this will be news worthy.

It was mentioned here it was 100 MPH in a 30 zone, I did not see that noted per any news story per this topic.

Dude is trash, has been since his days in Stillwater.
"I wasn’t disrespectful because my mom didn’t raise me that way" said Hill in reference to his action towards police that day.

Did his momma raise him to beat a pregnant woman?

"Hill threw his pregnant girlfriend around “like a ragdoll,” punched her in the face, sat on her, punched her in the stomach and choked her, according to a police report obtained by the Tulsa World in Oklahoma. Hill pleaded guilty to domestic assault and battery by strangulation. He received three years of probation and was sentenced to enroll in a year-long anger-management course, a program designed to rehabilitate those who’ve been convicted of battery."

Dude has got anger issues and prone to violence....just ask his son who got his arm broken when he was 3 years old....he pointed the finger right at Tyreek

I just watched Hill's presser after the game.
Dude is standing at the podium in a wife beater shirt playing the victim and saying he wants to be a cop one day...lol/smh
Such a clown. Complete lack of self awareness.
He's self aware that he can get away with most anything......elite athletes have done it for a century by now......politicians have done it since the begining of time

The 2 tiered justice system is very real

Hill telling the cops to be careful with his knee because he just had surgery while he was on his way to play an NFL game is comical.

Yeah, I think there was over reach; but what do you expect when you give lip to a cop?
Preferably that they wouldn't pull a man out of his car, slam him on the ground by the back of the neck, cuff him, and detain him via knee to the back....then again slamming a sitting, cuffed man to the ground. They also cuffed Calais Campbell and cited TE Smith, despite staying 25 ft back the entire time.

Dude, none of this is OK. I know I can be idealistic at times, but I was mortified while reading the recap of the body camera footage. As a public servant , you can't ragdoll somebody because they gave you lip. These guys were immediately placed on admin leave, pending investigation. There is absolutely no excuse for their actions.

50mph over the speed limit - I don't understand why this isn't the bigger point of discussion.

Reminder that just 3 years ago Henry Ruggs was speeding crashing into a woman's car and killing her and her dog. He walked away with a sore neck while passerbys said they could hear her screaming in agony through the flames.

You can show me whatever videos you want of how police officers handle reckless drivers and I will always come away with "They got off easy"

100 mph in a 30mph zone.
He did the whole refusal to roll down his window bit.
Hill looked like someone who stole a car would be described. Dude would be in prison for something if not for the NFL, no doubt.
Where did you see he was doing 100 in a 30? I haven’t heard that.

There are only three sentences you use with a LEO who has you pulled over.

1 - Yes sir.
2 - No sir.
3 - I'm not going to say anything until my lawyer is present.

Always respect the law, but also always fear the law.

LEO's are no different than any of us. Some are better at their jobs than others, but most importantly, they have the power over you at the initial point of contact as to why they are interacting with you.
That my friend is the most excellent advice you’ll see here.

"Upon being stopped, Mr. Hill was not immediately cooperative with the officers on scene who, pursuant to policy and for their immediate safety, placed Mr. Hill in handcuffs. Mr. Hill, still uncooperative, refused to sit on the ground and was therefore redirected to the ground," Stahl added.

"Once the situation was sorted out within a few minutes, Mr. Hill was issued two traffic citations and was free to leave."

Dude was on the phone with his agent while ignoring a cop and refusing to lower his window. Told the cop not to tap on his window. This, after flying thru a construction area. Must've said "bro" 100 times. Then jumps into victim mode. Mocks the whole deal IN THE GAME. Then says in comments after the game he has respect for the police and wants to be one. Kids look up to this clown. Probably even the 12 kids of his own...smh. Only a fool would sympathize with him. Unfortunately, there's no shortage of that.

Ya, 100% avoidable if he had just complied. Seems a simple concept.

This is situational. Not just failing to use your turn signal. If you're going slow and failing to use your signal on a right turn, there isn't any state in the country that is giving you reckless driving. Because it isn't reckless. It has to be in combination with the laws on reckless driving. Here they are for every state.

https://www.findlaw.com/traffic/traffic-tickets/reckless-driving.html

Here's the video of his stop. You can see him speeding on the left side of the cones at around the 30 second mark. Depending on how fast you're going, it can also be considered reckless. But the same rules apply in the link above.
