That's what it looked like to me too. But 60mph isn't flying IMO. Cops have a pretty good idea how fast someone is going from a stand still position. They watch traffic a lot.
what was the speed limit there? If it was 25 then 60 is flying.

We define flying differently. It's situational to me. If you're doing 60 down my residential street, that would definitely be flying. But down a 4 lane highway? Not so much. The speed limit doesn't change that, it just gets in into more trouble.

I finally watched and researched this incident. Hill was 100% in the wrong which led to some poor decisions by the officers. If he would have just complied, none of the latter even happens. It’s a simple concept to be respectful and obey orders but he deserved what he got, aside from throwing on the ground….that wasn’t really necessary but at that point, the cops wouldn’t know if he grabbed a gun behind those tinted windows. A couple of those officers did overreact to a degree but Tyreek started it.

was he on a four lane highway? heard it was through a work zone; a lot of states are very hard core about that.
also depends on what time of day it is.

After finally deciding to watch the incident myself yesterday by the body camera on the officer, I came to the exact same opinion.

To make matters worse, his windows looked tinted.

On top of only having 3 responses for the police I listed previously, the only other thing that you must do is roll down the windows and leave your hands on the steering wheel while talking to the officer. If it's night time and you're pulled over, automatically turn on your interior lights, roll down the windows and then both hands on the steering wheel.
One thing you DO NOT tell a cop who has you pulled over is "don't tell me what to do" and then roll your window back up:lmao:

Funny thing about body cameras worn by the police though, sometimes the video is made available for the public pretty fast, and sometimes (and in some states) the video isn't released until years later. In the state of NC, it is illegal for law enforcement to release video without a court order from a judge. Go figure...

You can see him on the video. It was either 3 or 4 lanes. He's going faster than most cars, but not flying. He couldn't. Too much traffic.

Hill was dumb, the cops had some over aggressive takes.

To me, most incidents like this have both parties at fault. If Hill just simply complied in regards to the window this could of been a non story.
He had one heck of an ego trip, moreso than the cop that yanked him out.

Great player, idiot person.

He was clearly going at least twice as fast than the other vehicles....in a construction zone as well. None the less, anyone would have been pulled over in that same instance....but he decided to act like an entitled jerk and things didn't go his way. Now, the same person who should be in jail after what he did to his kid and girlfriend and not making millions playing football - is calling for this officer to get fired. Hopefully karma comes for this guy eventually.

I put 99% of the blame on Hill here. My only point of contention is I didn't see him driving recklessly. You see him drive by at around 50-60mph at the 30 second mark. I guess they can consider that reckless if the speed limit was 30. Reckless in Florida is described as....

  • Any person who drives any vehicle in willful or wanton disregard for the safety of persons or property
I didn't see that.
Most states have escalators in construction zones especially if a lane is partially obstructed whether active construction is going on.

What if it was Lamb or Micah? Hill's past is irrelevant. This is about the use of excessive force by those that are sworn to protect the general population.
Hill should have been arrested. This is about an idiot putting everybody in danger over nothing. All he had to do was put his window down and hand the cop his license and get his ticket and go. It will end badly for Hill. He is going to end up like Henry Ruggs.

Hill should end up in prison. We are talking about a dangerous individual who has already broken a limb of a small child and a woman and has a history of violence against numerous individuals. He very well could kill somebody just like Henry Ruggs.

A question for those fence sitters claiming both sides were wrong. How many times should you be allowed to ignore an officer during a stop before "excessive force" is justifiable? Good grief.

The officers weren't wrong. The only wrong thing was they didn't arrest Hill.

The officer should sue them. Get their ***** in court if they are going to act like this.
Yeah what a upside down world we live in, hate to see officers life ruined because of that piece of you know what
