I finally watched and researched this incident. Hill was 100% in the wrong which led to some poor decisions by the officers. If he would have just complied, none of the latter even happens.
After finally deciding to watch the incident myself yesterday by the body camera on the officer, I came to the exact same opinion.
To make matters worse, his windows looked tinted.
On top of only having 3 responses for the police I listed previously, the only other thing that you must do is roll down the windows and leave your hands on the steering wheel while talking to the officer. If it's night time and you're pulled over, automatically turn on your interior lights, roll down the windows and then both hands on the steering wheel.
One thing you DO NOT tell a cop who has you pulled over is "don't tell me what to do" and then roll your window back up
Funny thing about body cameras worn by the police though, sometimes the video is made available for the public pretty fast, and sometimes (and in some states) the video isn't released until years later. In the state of NC, it is illegal for law enforcement to release video without a court order from a judge. Go figure...
