Thinking that was at RT.

I just dont wanna feel like its season over if Tyron goes down and I kinda do right now.

Maybe its because of the Atlanta debacle, which was just inexcusable by any professional coaching staff yet somehow got excused.
first off that was 2yrs ago by the old staff but last year we had better depth , secondly no backup will be anywhere near as good as smith, the drop off will be Signiant , lastly i believe in hindsight when you saw the next guy after Green got lit up just the same, Garett didnt have anyone who could have stopped that, no excuses but it was the Gms job to get better depth..

hope the new staff will find those backups just in case and if they arent here now Implore jerry to go get some..I thnk jerry has enough respect for MM to listen and act quickly..

upside for LC and Smith being out is lots of work for backups..they dont need much practice to be ready for game 1

In that case we are probably a better team with McG at LG and Williams at LT but we dont yet know this. I'd like to find out before it automatically becomes Erving at LT, who has had a very up and down career.

Again, while the McCoy situation was awful, Tyron is way higher on the list of people we didnt want that to happen to.

In fact he may be in the top 2-3.

Cam Erving's issue was said to be a 'minor medical issue'. . . it doesn't sound like anything really serious.

Not at all sure if Williams would be the choice of the staff to fill in, though, if Tyron Smith had to come out.

Expect a lot of injuries this year.
This season may likely be a war of attrition. :(

Plus...they did have Aaron Rodgers

More importantly their defense was ranked 5th in yards and 2nd in points that year. Clay Matthews was the defensive player of the year.

in the playoffs the defense scored three touchdown's on interceptions. They had 4 defensive pro bowl starters.

Yep. Had it not been for the defense they probably lose to Chicago’s 2nd and 3rd string QB. May not have even beat Philly in the wild card game. Took an interception in the end zone to seal that game.

That’s it, armed security, bubble wrap and red jerseys for Smith, Collins, and Martin until week 1.

One of only two seasons really where Rodgers has had a good defense.

Rookie contract as well.

2020 Training Camp just started last Thursday, 1 week ago...

So O-Tackles currently injured for the Cowboys are:

(1) Tyron Smith
(2) La'El Collins
(3) Cam Erving
(4) Brandon Knight

What is going on? Is there something in the water there in Frisco???

Brady threw a pick six versus the Falcons but his D kept giving him the ball to keep them in that Superbowl.

Your point being a good defense is important? Who doesn't think that?

A good offense will need their defense to bail them out at times but ultimately a good offense will have to get it done at some point.

Rodgers was excellent in the actual Superbowl. Laser like precision. He let his arm do the talking.
