Twitter: Tyron Smith might be done for the season

He should shut it down. The neck and back aren't things to play with. We are 1 - 3 and haven't looked good in any game so far. Lucky the NFC EAST is so bad that we are still in the division fight but he should just rest up and "hopefully" be ready for next season.

LOL.

This season just keeps getting better.

And this isn't out of left field either. It's surprising to me that this front office hasn't been more active in shaking the trees for OT help. There are some stop gap names out there. Or get creative and bring in an OG to allow Martin to play RT and move Knight back to LT.

These are the moments when it's painfully obvious what the flaws of this front office is. Jerry and Stephen are often way too slow to react to things that should have been in the works weeks ago.

Sucks because he looked really good vs the Browns.

Tyron probably watched this defense play last week and heard X. Woods’ comment and thought:

“What the hell am I out here hurting myself for a team that ain’t even gonna try?”

Rest up, Tyron. Looks like we’ll tank with this defense anyways.

connor williams at tackle, mcgovern at guard, knight at other tackle

Or Martin at RT, McGovern at RG. Or go grab Leary in FA to play RG and move Martin.

There are ways to try to mitigate this but why do we all know they are just going to roll with the "we like our guys" and roll with Steele who will likely get Prescott (and possibly Elliott) killed?

Its crazy how we went from position of strength and locking all the linemen up to long contracts and bam. Fredrick gets a very weird injury and retires. Bam Smith having neck and back issues. Collins sign's a long term contract and then gets injured and doesn't even play a down this season out for the season most likely.

Only man left is Martin.
What was once a dominate O-line is a position of weakness now.

Well, since it took a blunder by Steele to get the coaches to realize that Knight was the better option (which us fans even knew), you're right to question their decision making.

I was worried about him the year after he declined the surgery for his back and he looked like his stamina and core strength left him. He has been willing himself to continue but this might be the end.
