Video: Tyron Smith rolling downfield

Free is the only lineman we have that cannot run down field. Amazing how athletic and powerful the Cowboys OL is.

Tyrone should have been flagged with block in the back.

And that was Brandon Graham who he threw to the ground like a toddler at the beginning of the play. Just an all around epic play.

Nate Newton marvels at this o-line's athleticism almost daily.

Nope. It's not blocking in the back when the opponent turns his back to you when you're about to block him.

SECTION 4 BLOCKING

Blocking is the act of obstructing or impeding an opponent by contacting him with a part of the blocker’s body.
A Block in the Back is a block that is delivered from behind an opponent above his waist. It is not a block in the back:
(a) if a player is making a personal attempt to recover a loose ball
(b) if the opponent turns away from the blocker when contact is imminent

It was a phantom hold on T-Fred...
Completely...the ironic part about that play was how Fred emphasized the disengagement of his block perfectly so the ref could see he had no jersey or any other part of the defender once Zeke got level with this block and the defender would try to peel away...it's almost as if Fred was too obvious in the gesture with the shooting out of his left hand. Ref just seemed to say "oh I got to throw the flag on that one"...it's pretty pathetic, particularly given that the defender had NO SHOT at impacting the play as he was completely out of position. smh.

Playing with a bad back and a neck stinger, best player on the team.

Much like the flag they picked up in the same game where they threw the flag, discussed it, and reversed it with this exact explanation. (Ok, he said the blocker was already engaged, but close)
