Tyrone Crawford ticks me off

He played fantastic against the Rams and the Titans. Soooo...let's cut him because he appears to whine.

All this cross training and playing corners off WRs on third down...maybe preparing like this will help come middle of the season?? Idk ... New rules could be enforced more strictly down the road...maybe ??

sorry if i got off topic...just speaking about crawford moving around..it could be a good thing give i time alot of young players are seeing time they werent when dware n hatcher were around

Watch his interviews from TC to now. All of them he seems frustrated and unhappy about how he's being moved around. Haven't seen a positive attitude or a impact play yet. I get that it's frustrating to have to go up and down in weight, but maybe if you made some plays they would keep you in a spot. Stop whimpering and sighing Crawford, you've done nothing on the field that warrants being frustrated with the coaches.

He's only being moved because we are decimated at the DT spot right now but he's practiced in the past there for such a time as this.. Considering he's coming off an injury and playing in the Pros for the first time, he's been more than serviceable. Very close to getting sacks like almost Anthony was for a while...

PFF has Crawford as one of the highest rated 4-3 DE's in the league thus far and its only his 3rd regular season game in 2 years, remember he tore his achilles and missed the entire season last year? IMO, Crawford will continue to improve as the season goes on, maybe even rack up some sacks at some point? Either way, it might be a good idea for the Crawford critics to wait and see what kind of impact he makes as the season progresses and guys like Melton and Spencer hopefully start looking like the talents they displayed just 2 years ago...

I see him with the same issue as Wilber...they haven't put him in his prime position consistently and that is affecting him...IMO, his true value to the team is the 3-tech...he will get his snaps this week, so let's see what he can do....I love the game within the game stuff and I will be watching this match-up...last week's game-within-the-game was Ty vs Quinn...Ty dominated....looking forward to this week

Now people are whining because of how they perceive a player's attitude based on short interview clips? Give me a break, this thread is nonsense.

In order to pass rush you need to have your legs, hands, and body working as a single unit. Bend so much, keep moving up field, and most importantly attack with your hands to keep the OL off.

Crawford has yet to put it together. He will get off the line and make contact before trying use his hands or he will be slow off the line and walk into an easy punch. Mostly he struggles keeping hands off him as he tries to work upfield.

He is effective because he has a rangy build to stack, good but not great quickness, is very strong, and good motor. Keep on giving him snaps. He will regain more athleticism out of that achilles when he is a full two years post op and he simply needs to develop and refine his technique.

I haven't focused on every one of his plays but he stopped Kapernaeks arm in mid throwing motion.

I got jumped on this site this summer when everyone on here was talking Crawford up and expecting him to be great. I didn't under why people thought he would be great. He has never done anything in the nfl, never. Some people just like to have false hope in players

I think Crawford is playing just lik I thought he would. Just another guy. Nothing great but nothing terrible.

He's going in the right direction, at the 1/2 way point of the season I give him a grade, but not till then.

For the life of me, I can't see anything wrong with that vid.
Neither can I. It was a post-practice interview, which may explain the very slight hesitation in some of his responses. Extended physical exertion will sometimes do that to a person.

The link below is pre-Dallas Cowboys Crawford radio interview on YouTube.. He had his brother with him. The radio hosts were posing general life, school, and post-Boise questions to him. In general, his mannerisms and presentation, outside the slight jovial laughing, seems the norm then as they do now:

Me too .... I don't want to hear "I'm small, I'll do the best I can in the middle ... I'll use my quickness and see what happens ... I don't know (insert whiney voice)...." He doesn't sound confident so why should I have any confidence that he's gonna hold his own in the trenches, geesh.:(
