Not to mention he's pretty handy with the feet.
Yeah.

Nearly dead.

Or, he could just be humiliated that he just lost his team a big lead, and cowardly go to the sideline, when he chokes up and can't hit a receiver.

That's exactly the type of guy I'd want leading my team. I'm sure the other players were REAL impressed.

Ridiculous. Really, if he was a Cowboy would you still feel that way?

He can make all the throws, has decent escapability, and the Eagles' organization are a bunch of penny pinchers. It's amazing to me that people think he's overrated, I never heard it 'til Jabba the Limbaugh said it. Now people say it over and over like parrots.

Actually, people said it all the time but just couldn't say it out loud or they got called a name (the "R" word). Why don't you look at his career stats. Very journeyman like. Oops....never mind, wouldn't want to confuse you with facts.

I really don´t think so, 9 TDs 1 int this year, I know he hasn´t played against good teams, but let´s not underestimate this guy, as much as I hate to say it he is the bes QB in the NFC and top 5 in the league.

He is the one player we have to worry about on sunday.

Maybe my last comment was a little strong...he's more than a journeyman. But he's far from a top tier QB as he's consistently described in the press. A good starter is as far as I'll go. And all the comments about his mental toughness are on the money.....he cracks under pressure. If he's the best QB in the NFC East, that really isn't saying much.

he is on fire,BUT,he is the whole offense.Minus him thats it.Packers handed them the game, obviously.I am not impressed with Philly at all.IMHO.:D

They've beaten the Forty Niners, Texans and Packers and they lost their only game against a decent team, the Giants. Not impressed, yet.

Name me another QB you rather have out of NFC??????

I don't like the Eagles but you gotta be an idiot if you didn't want him on your team.

Hasselbeck, Bulger, Brees, Delhomme. All guys who can do the one thing that McNabb can't: sit in the pocket make quick decisions and dissect a defense.

McNabb is above average. But he's far from elite.

I wouldn't rate him as being in the top 10 QB's in the league.

The guy is inaccurate.

He plays in the WCO and can't even muster a 60% completion percentage.

And he has a history of choking in critical games.

Personally, I wouldn't want McNabb on our team.

No you'd rather have a guy that chokes in all types of games like Bledsoe.

I actually like McNabb .. that being said, he's been playing against the worst teams in the league. Texans? 49ers? Packers? heck, even the Giants who gave up 40-something points to Seattle who got beat by 30 or so two days ago?

Sorry, until they play real teams especially on the road and win, I don't feel the Eagles or McNabb deserve any praise. Even if the Cowboys were to lose next week, that's at Philly where they always play tough against Dallas. McNabb will need to play a real team on the road and do well before he can be considered elite.

He's carried that team for years, with and without TO. Just compare the rb's and wr's he's had to what Manning has had or Brady for that matter. If we had had a healthy McNabb or Brady or Manning last year, we would have made the playoffs for sure.

No, on the glue. You must be one of those guys that thinks, "wow, the quarterback can run, he's good." When one of those running quarterbacks wins the big one then we'll talk. The reason guys like McNabb, Cunningham, Tarkenton and Plummer don't win Super Bowls is that there comes a pivotal time in all big games when a quarterback is going to have to have to stand and deliver: meaning he's going to have to sit in the pocket with the pressure in his face and deliver the football accurately and on time knowing he is going to get destroyed. A lot of guys that rely on their feet tend to struggle when their feet are taken from them and they have to make quick decisions.

You want the AFC list now?
Manning, Brady, Trent Green, McNair, Pennington, Palmer.

Mcnabb doesn't run like he did in his earlier years. He runs only when he needs to. He did on a couple of 3rd and 10's. Mainly, he stays in the pocket.

Wrong! I'm a fan that enjoys the "past" sucess of the team that I root for.

You're a fan that is aggravated about the "past" of that loser team you root for....

Get it? Until your team wins the prize...they are a loser, and the fans that root for them are loses also...it's not complicated, boy.

Bledsoe didn't choke last year when he was putting 30 on the Eagles' vaunted defense. McNabb however did when he threw the ball straight to Roy Williams in the flat when all the Eagles had to do was run out the clock. But go ahead and say, "Oh, sports hernia this" and "Awww, TO drama that".

I'd take McNabb in a heartbeat. That would put us over the top.

We have our loser TO though, that will have to do.
