Mainly, he stays in the pocket.

Well, at least you said something right, this time! He stays in the pocket of Jeff Laurie's stash of "The Gold" Standard!

Other then that...he's a loser for now.

Bledsoe didn't choke last year when he was putting 30 on the Eagles' vaunted defense. McNabb however did when he threw the ball straight to Roy Williams in the flat when all the Eagles had to do was run out the clock. But go ahead and say, "Oh, sports hernia this" and "Awww, TO drama that".

No, Bledsoe just choked against the Giants, Commanders, and Rams to help blow Dallas` second division lead in three years. Not to mention the countless number of plain-jane regular season games Bledsoe has tossed away in his career. His most meaningful NFL act was bleeding internally so Tom Brady could start -- but yeah, who'd really want McNabb over him?

Yeah, the oline had NOTHING to do about that, huh?

Also, that's pretty disgusting mentioning Bledsoe's internal bleeding...but, that's what I would expect from a boy your age...

Pathetic!

I guess my biggest complaint of McNabb (if i were an eagles fan) is his inconsistency. He can pull off a miracle play and then miss a 5-10 yard pass, throws a lot of balls right into the ground about 3-5 feet in front of a player.

He gets rattled and loses his accuracy for 5-6 passes in a row, then scrambles in the pocket and launches a great throw to a wide open receiver for a 40 yard TD.
You hit the nail on the head. Everyone labels him "inaccurate" but an inaccurate quarterback doesn't complete 4th and 26... or the perfect pass to LJ Smith last night... or the 2 perfect strikes in the superbowl (TDs to LJ and Westbrook).

McNabb is streaky. He'll go on a tear and complete 20 some passes in a row. Or he'll start a game in a funk and throw 5 straight into the ground. He can be VERY accurate at times, only to come out flat the next series. All in all, the positives far outweigh the negatives.

Drew Bledsoe is no Donovan McNabb. He's a servicable starting QB that never gets injured and makes too many mistakes and too few plays if leaned upon. Somewhat ironically, his only major injury resulted in the beginning of Tom Brady's HOF career. I should not have made light of his internal bleeding, it was a cheap attempt to drive home a point.

McNabb impressed me last night. Didn't think he would come out and just torch you guys' secondary like that. If only he was capable of doing that on a weekly basis.

Yeah that'd only be like the greatest season a QB has ever had, if only he could do that. After all, he's only had one of the best 5 week performances in the NFL ever. If only he could keep that act up, then he'd impress me.
