I wish Moffitt was bigger. I don't think he would fit in our system at all but he has a none stop motor and took over in games, pretty much Killed WVU when we played him. At worst he would probably make a good ST player due to his motor.

Yeah, I've been pimpin' Moffitt for a while. I think he plays bigger than he is, and would be a good choice to bring to camp despite his size....the guys has all of the intangibles, and a lot of heart.

when do we start signing UDFAs

The Cowboys didn't draft a receiver, but they have added at least one through college free agency - Texas Tech's Danny Amendola.

He had 109 catches for 1,245 yards and six touchdowns for the Red Raiders in 2007. The Cowboys would really like to see Amendola develop into another Tech receiver, Wes Welker, who lit it up last year in New England. They have similar builds - Amendola is 5-10, 183, Welker is 5-8, 185 - and excelled as slot receivers in Mike Leach's offense.

Hopefully we'll get some more undrafted free agents as we go along tonight.

Amendola and Dixon........very nice so far....I am very pleased with our draft, our UDFA so far, and next year's draft (possibly 10 picks from rounds 3-7).

Why read those when you can couch scout yourself!

Seriously, I already like this guy...one play into the "danny amendola tribute" video on youtube is all it took. Go check it out.

i see a lot of TT games here in SA....even though I dont like them.....but this guy is slow, short, unathletic.....but all he does is get wide open, catch passes, and get YAC.....

Amendola is a small WR who is definitely faster and quicker than he is timed. Runs great routes and has very good hands. Abused Antwaun Molden in an all-star game, IIRC.

I definitely like the signing because Amendola is just one of those gritty guys who knows what he needs to do to get better. Isn't flashy, but can get the job done.

May have trouble making the roster, but I'd guess he is definitely someone we can stash away on the PS squad.

But honestly though, he may surprise a few and make the roster since I would guess his hands are more reliable than a guy like Miles Austin.
