various:
the silva-diaz fight basically was a testament that neither guy should be fighting in the ufc any longer.
silva was hesitant and scared all fight even tho diaz has zero punching power even fighting at lightweight.
diaz has a ton of heart but he threw four or five elbows that silva walked right through. they were that powerless.
other than some leg kicks he did absolutely zero and silva left looking like he had sparred a good friend.
silva should absolutely leave with the win and move into being the president of ufc's arm in brazil.
the fact diaz thinks he won sums up why he needs to move on. he got 1 round at best.
his buddies in his corner lying to him doesn't help.
he'd definitely be a guy i'd hire if i were dana white to promote fights.
he is a natural in that role.
he should never, never fight at 185 again.
if he does do another fight i'd like to see him rematch cerrone.
miesha is awesome. i got a pic with her when she came to a strikeforce dallas card. --i had my eyes closed
--my wife gives me endless grief over this.
she was the lesser athlete and also had less skill(other than BJJ) than mcmann but she has such a big heart.
she is a great role model for any athlete of just grinding.
she has done this for 20 years now.. train and fight. she is a real fighter in every sense.
but she'll never have the tools to beat ronda.
cat has enough striking power and strength to give ronda a challenge.
i'll likely never pick against rousey at 135 but zingano should make that one must see tv.
i thought this was a pretty soft card all in all.
the miesha/mcmann fight definitely should have been main card.
the only guys that looked decent were the ones who missed weight badly.
go back and forth over whether to dig deep into the pockets for ufc 185 tix here in dallas.
250 a seat got me on the floor for strikeforce but for this ufc card that'd be mediocre seats at best....
