tonight

I love Frontrowsports.eu lol
For those scared about the ads or just annoyed. Download chrome browser and then download ADBlocker pro for chrome its free and it blocks every ad that will ever come up. its blocked 32 ads for me in 5mins.

Blocking ads too improve the stream i have noticed. No buffering. Maybe that has to do with my 105MB speed from xfinity too lol

My computer always up with malware whenever I use that site. Admittedly, I'm not the most tech savvy guy, but still it's annoying so I seldom use it anymore.

So that was a UFC...first time I've really watched an entire presentation...but glad I didn't pay for it. I was at BWW. It was okay I guess. That Meisha chick was pretty good although I know that she already got completely destroyed by that #1 chick who arm bars everyone.

I don't think either Diaz brother really wants to fight anymore. I think they're so disillusioned with the UFC but they know it's where they can make the most money.

Think Silva just called it quits. He talked about his kids telling him him not to fight anymore. You can see he is having doubts in fighting. He didnt say no but he said i dont know maybe but i dont know. Think he came back and did what he wanted.

Doubt it. He is still at the top. He'll have the belt back within a year.

Rousey is just too good for anybody right now.

The good news for the women bantamweights is I don't think Rousey will be fighting much longer. Two years max. Then she's full time doing movies and other things. She's already talking about that eventual transition.

Right now she has my vote for the most dominant UFC Champion. She's never had a competitive fight.

Don't sleep on Zingano. If Rousey can't get her to the ground, Zingano will eat her up.

She got tuned up by Miesha Tate for the first half of their fight and then got beaten up badly in the first round by Amanda Nunes. Now she came back to win both fights (I thought the Tate stoppage was a bad decision), but I think that speaks to why she won't win this fight. I don't think she's anywhere near Ronda's league.

I attribute her poor performances in 2014 to her husband's suicide. She was on a tear before that though. She lives locally for me , so maybe I am a bit biased.

In all fairness though, Tate did pretty well against Ronda in the standup both times they have fought. Tate would connect on combinations on Rousey but inexcusably shoot for a sloppy takedown. Rousey ate those up as a Judo background easily.

Maybe I root for Rousey to lose because she looks quite similar to my ex though. There are a lot of factors in play here.

The Tate fight was before the suicide. We just don't agree on Rousey/Tate. I thought Ronda destroyed her everywhere both times. Look at Tate's face after that 2nd fight.

Watch Zingano/Tate. Miesha dominates the first round and a half. She was never even close to being that competitive against Rousey.

We shall see at the end of the month. I have Ronda finishing her in the first round.

various:
the silva-diaz fight basically was a testament that neither guy should be fighting in the ufc any longer.
silva was hesitant and scared all fight even tho diaz has zero punching power even fighting at lightweight.
diaz has a ton of heart but he threw four or five elbows that silva walked right through. they were that powerless.
other than some leg kicks he did absolutely zero and silva left looking like he had sparred a good friend.
silva should absolutely leave with the win and move into being the president of ufc's arm in brazil.

the fact diaz thinks he won sums up why he needs to move on. he got 1 round at best.
his buddies in his corner lying to him doesn't help.
he'd definitely be a guy i'd hire if i were dana white to promote fights.
he is a natural in that role.
he should never, never fight at 185 again.
if he does do another fight i'd like to see him rematch cerrone.

miesha is awesome. i got a pic with her when she came to a strikeforce dallas card. --i had my eyes closed:(--my wife gives me endless grief over this.
she was the lesser athlete and also had less skill(other than BJJ) than mcmann but she has such a big heart.
she is a great role model for any athlete of just grinding.
she has done this for 20 years now.. train and fight. she is a real fighter in every sense.
but she'll never have the tools to beat ronda.

cat has enough striking power and strength to give ronda a challenge.
i'll likely never pick against rousey at 135 but zingano should make that one must see tv.

i thought this was a pretty soft card all in all.
the miesha/mcmann fight definitely should have been main card.
the only guys that looked decent were the ones who missed weight badly.

go back and forth over whether to dig deep into the pockets for ufc 185 tix here in dallas.
250 a seat got me on the floor for strikeforce but for this ufc card that'd be mediocre seats at best....

Tate was getting beat up on the feet against McMann and then out grappled her. The exact opposite of what most expected. This was the fight that most interested me. That and Woodley/Gastelum but Kelvin's weight issue tempered my enthusiasm for that fight.

To me, Miesha is a gatekeeper in that division. She can never compete with the Champion but she's good enough to be the one you have to beat to get to the Champion.

Zingano beat her, but I thought the stoppage was bogus.

From what I do remember from the 2nd fight is that when Miesha had her good striking moments, she followed it up with sloppy diving takedowns. Which led to her getting battered on the ground. That is completely fair to say though, Miesha hasn't done well against her both times.

I think for WMMA , having Rousey lose would show that the talent pool is deep enough. Rousey makes an incredible amount of money for such short time in the octagon.

Having Rousey win again would make Dana try and bring Gina Carano back like he has been trying to do. The thought of watching that fight gives me the shivers.

Dana sees the $$$, so I hope Gina stays in film and doesn't get lured back by White.

I don't know who would be her next opponent after Zingano. There is nobody there. I thought it would be McMann again, but she just lost to Tate. (I had that fight a draw)

Holly Holm is the girl that's supposed to be the next big threat but she hasn't even made her UFC debut yet. Bethe Correia may be the next fight but I honestly think she's way overrated and wouldn't even beat Tate. There's bad blood there though so Ronda might request that fight.

Also, the Silva / Diaz fight was a lot closer than you'd expect if you watch it a second time.

I could see giving Diaz 2 or 3 of the rounds. In terms of amount of strikes, there were rounds were Diaz was quite a bit more active and blocked Silva's combinations to be fair.

Not saying Diaz won, but the fight itself was pretty close from a striking eye.

Bethe has only made it interesting by taking out Rousey's friends, which is pretty entertaining but unless she improves drastically , I see her getting mauled. We will see how Holly Holm does in her debut coming up, I am not holding my breath on that because I don't trust her ground game. To go from boxing to be able to defend and be competent to grapple with Rousey is good wishing.

It would be nice to see Nunes get back in there though.

There's rumblings Rousey/Cyborg might finally happen this year. That's definitely the biggest fight they can make.

Yea, I love Carano and the Cowboys tie in and all but there is zero reason she should fight in the UFC, much less fight Rousey.
If she wanted to come back and fight a few times in Invicta she could work her way to the UFC.

But I can see DW doing something stupid like making Ronda and Gina coaches on TUF.

DW can go get Cyborg and they have been negotiating for a while now. That would be a real fight.

I don't see anyone giving Rousey too much trouble because she is simply the best woman in the world at getting an armbar.
She has trained striking with the Diaz brothers and is getting better there all the time.
she has the leg strenght of of most

Miesha is technically an ugly fighter. Her stand up is kinda awkward and she takes punches to land them.
She has good but not great wrestling and mostly she wins on grit and heart.
I do love her man. It is what fighting is supposed to be.

Silva/Diaz: Not sure I buy that it was close in any way other than strikes thrown.
Silva landed a much higher percentage of his strikes and did significantly more damage.
Both guys blocked a ton of punches.
The difference was Silva really didn't need to bother because Nick's punches were soft, powerless flicks.
When Silva bothered to throw he did damage and brought heat.
Mostly it just looked bad imho. Two guys who had no game plan tweaks or versatility. It was basically Diaz landing jabs and leg kicks hoping to win via Anderson's leg falling apart. And Silva trying to counter punch for the 1 punch knockout against a guy with a head of cement.
Silva historically probably is the best 185 of all time but it very clear his best days are done.
Diaz is just not a 185er and needs to come up with more to his game plan than outbox guys and go for submissions if you get wrestled to the ground.
