SO......Unless you braved the 110+ temperatures prior to the new stadium, you know nothing. Now that they have the new digs they've sold out and the games have been on TV. Oh yeah.....I've had the NFL ticket for 3 years now and they even blacked out the games locally. It totally sucked when they were in our division.

Live and learn...
Bucky Brooks telled me he's overrated though.
You're wavering, and I don't like it.Seven;1405905 said:AND.....a fat, lazy, good for nuthin'. I'm pretty sure I think that about him from what I've never seen.

You don't need to be right or wrong. Just be loud either way.
You need to place your foot firmly in the "Davis is made of Country Crock" camp with Bucky Brooks, Bucky Dent, Bucky Lasik, and my childhood friend Jeffrey who we called Bucky, and got ran over on his Big-wheel.

But I'm cracking up.
Why do gorillas have big nostrils?
Because they have big fingers.

Maybe we can blame the imprint of failure that the Cardinals left on him since taking him second overall in the 2001 draft, but that's a pretty hefty payday the Cowboys just gave offensive tackle Leonard Davis, a guy who never remotely played up to his billing in Arizona.
Dallas needs both a right tackle and a right guard, and Davis has played both positions, without much distinction. But six years of underachievement in Arizona got him a seven-year deal worth a reported $49.6 million (see earlier Nate Clements' note), with the important part being the $18.75 million of guaranteed money in the deal.
It just goes to show, when you're 6-foot-6, 366 pounds, and you just report to work almost every day, good things can happen.

This ain't fantasy football.
Not sure what you meant by this...but here is what Parcells would do...start Rob Pettiti 16 games (over half when the guy was playing on 1 leg)...then cut him...then we find out the guy cannot even get a job ANYWHERE in the NFL...here is something else Parcells would do, draft Jacob Rogers with a 2nd round pick, then Rogers promptly has surgery and NEVER plays a regular season snap in Dallas..or ANYWHERE in the NFL for that matter...or maybe Parcells will use a 2nd round pick on a C...then spend the majority of his career in Dallas complaining about the size and strength of the guy..because in case you did not know...the got shrunk and got weaker over a 4 year period right before our very eyes...or perhaps he had someone much bigger and stronger than him pose as him for 4 years at Wisoncson...or we can't forget Parcells telling us that TOrrin Tukcer was the most athletic lineman on the Cowboys...the same Torring Tucker who is not in the NFL right now...BlueStar22;1404122 said:My biggest question about Davis is, "Would Parcells have brought this guy in?"
cowboyed;1406001 said:I do not see Jerry Jones spending this much money out of desperation. Davis may just really elevate his game with the Cowboys. It is not as if Jones set the bar on spending. Olinemen are getting compensation of elite quarterbacks now. Supply and demand folks.
iceberg;1406175 said:that's only because an "elite" qb isn't up for renewal right now. if one were, you'd see $ go way up even more.
