Ultimate underwhelmed with Day 1 thread *Merge*

James Marten. Did we really need this?

Looks like a second round project to me.
OT or OG guy from the O-line factory of Boston College. Taken right where he should have been. Has the size just needs a year to fill out and learn the pro game. Pretty decent pick. I like it a lot.

We needed this pick more than we needed a new thread *****ing about this pick.

That's for sure.....Some people would complain if they were hung w/a new rope.

I'm sorry, I didn't realize the thread ***** were working today. I'll keep my opinions to myself. Oh wait, that's the purpose of this site.
Why don't you go somewhere and don't express your opinion.

His point was to let you know to keep your opinion in the thread already started composing of 100 posts saying the same thing you just said.

Had to be a D-lineman or an O-linemen pick and he seems to be the right one if his attitude is bad enough. But Trent was my only hope for a decent QB controvery. What to do this summer.

Well, I guess that's why they have the merge option in case someone makes the unpardonable sin of creating a new thread.

:bang2:

Speaking of jerks.....

I'm a gentleman.

Seriously though - what's the point of making this thread? Do you have a specific reasoning against Marten? Were you decidedly against this from the beginning? Are you a disgruntled BC fan? Are you Jamesaphobic?

Or do you just not know who he is, and so you're underwhelmed?

Think about it before you get upset.

It's also why they have a search feature in case you missed the 3 page thread cemented at the top of the forum.

Don't try and question anything the Boys did today, you'll get lynched for it. I've loved and defended every move the Cowboys have made since picking up TO in the free agency, but because I don't like the Spencer move suddenly I'm a whiner and complainer so whatever. Don't even try having a different opinion.

Soooo, you're whining about someone giving their opinion in your opinion thread ????

I could care les what anyone's opinion is but the backlash is coming from having 30 different threads to complain about the same thing

He was the 5th or 6th ranked OT in the draft. A so-so draft class at that regarding OTs. We traded away a second round pick to get resigned a guy who most people on here didn't even know existed before his name was called.

We have just resigned Columbo, got L. Davis, resigned Gurode.

We have a need at WR for depth, but we didn't have anyone to shoot for at this pick, so the one area where we can always use players because of the 3-4 scheme is LB and with Buster Davis sitting there we could have used him and he would contribute.

This guy has awful footwork from what I've read and he needs ALLOT of coaching.

And we gave up a second for this?

Yeah, I've given it some thought.

Oh, poor baby. Then why are you in this thread if it others you so much.

Maybe because you like to whine yourself about something.

Now see - that's something worth starting a thread about. Even if it's ridiculous, I can respect the tought that went into it.

The OP?

Not so much.
