Ultimately playoff success will determine how Dak’s career will be perceived

It's comical how so many ignore that, especially in a game that was basically an exhibition for Philly with their backup QB.

Typical.
And what about the exhibition game when they played us with Rush at QB?

See the hate huh? I don't know, that sounds subjective. Guess I can only speak to what I've seen and said, which is lots of criticism based on frustration and wanting this team to win something.

I stand by what I posted....see my post above about when Dak broke his ankle.

Do all you dislikers remember all the comments after Dak broke his ankle....many of you were happy....

I was happy because I was hoping there might be a slight chance this would cause them not to give him the big contract. Which I believe is better for the team in the future.

You know there was not a chance Jerry was not going to give him a contract.
I would have been ok if they went for another QB in the draft though. But Jerry is Jerry. I am not displeased with Dak, but I am not all in on him either.

Oh, I seen it. Yes being critical is ok, heck I been that way lately. But you can see the hate in some posts, that is not being critical.
How?
How can you "see" the "hate" in the words a critic types?

I call BS, Jazz. You're seeing what you want to see. My guess is that there are certain people that challenge your opinions in a way that really grinds your gears. You rationalize this to be because they have ulterior motives, i.e. "hate", because that allows to write off their opinion as irrelevant because it is driven by the ulterior motive rather than logic and reason.

Your responses only take the discussion farther into the darkness. I consider you one of the main instigators of the dysfunction. You certainly aren't alone but you're definitely first team.

I call BS on you. You can't handle the truth, so you come at me calling me an instigator. As usual you come at me with your crap.

Answer the question.

How can you read "hate" into the criticisms you read?

You said it. Now back it up.

I won't hold my breath. lol

It is logic, there is criticism, then there are those that do not post anything but being critical even when Dak plays well, or they pick ONE play and harp on it over and over, 10 times in 10 different threads.
Yes one can see hate / dislike in posts.
It is the truth, live with it....please hold your breath regardless....

Week to week roller coaster of the nfl and fans reactions towards Dak are more up and down than the stock market, but regardless of how Dak plays like this past week, or the week before and his ints and his flashes of greatness and then his mistakes, you can’t judge Dak until he has playoff success, that’s what separates a good qb from a great qb, so we’ve seen what he is capable of, but without playoff success he will never be viewed as a great qb regardless of his numbers and regular season record
isn't that the same for all other QBs? as it should be.

For Cowboys fans, yes.

Dak over Dallas fans don't judge Dak that way.

Dak played great against the Packers in 2016 as a rookie, defense lost that game.

Dak played good in the Seahawks win and played great in the Rams loss where the defense gave up like 250 yards rushing.

Dak played ok in the 49ers loss. Definitely could have played better. But the defense failed to make any key stops and there were 12 penalties in that game.

Dak has played well in the playoffs and none of the losses were on him.

You're a biased Dak haters who probably complained that Dallas didn't score on that Dak to TY 30 yard conversion.

It's a fairytale truth fabricated to enable you to make sense of something you are otherwise unable to make sense of.

It is just as likely, if not even more likely, that some do what you describe JUST to annoy you and the other sensitive types like you.

Use your head, man. You should be setting the example, not feeding the fire, then complaining it's to hot in here.

I tell the truth, you just do not want to see it.
Take your own advice and use your head.

I think you are the sensitive one.

I'm glad that your belief that Dak played well makes those losses not sting as much.

When you're a fan of the Cowboys over any single player you couldn't care less how "well" a specific player played in a playoff game. The only thing that matters is advancing in those playoffs.

I hope that if we lose that Dak plays well enough to give you Dak over Dallas fans some conform.

I hate losing no matter what. But you were making it sound like Dak hasn't played well in the playoffs (or is the reason Dallas has not gone deep in the playoffs), when that's not the case at all.
