I think his mental issues (I believe he has been diagnosed bi-polar) are contributing to this. It is a damn shame.
I believe it is and if it the case substance abuse and bi-polar disorder go hand and hand. It can be controlled but only if the person wants to get help and utilizes it. I hope for his sake he can do this and be a productive citizen in his community.

Unfortunately weed is addictive to some people. I knew people who smoke when they was young and still do. They could never give it up. It was costing them jobs and legal issues. That is why I didn't want the Cowboys to draft him.

Kind of like alcohol or opioids?

Dude obviously cares more about drugs than football. I smoke and I could quit if I really needed or wanted to. It's not the addiction, he just doesn't care.

Ok thanks.
He just doesn't care about the sport he grew up playing and the millions he stood to make playing it.

Punishing people for having depression/bipolar disorder by pushing them into isolation and making them feel even less about themselves is probably the worst possible approach you can implement.

Never been proven ........ Gregory and his family all say the opposite.

Just another stat in the miserable failure that is the drug war and get tough policies that do not work. History will not look fondly on this period regarding drugs in our society. Lives have been ruined and no good comes from that.

Please Spare me the "he should know better and stop
****". It's nieve at best.

I smoked herb quite heavily for about 14 years and quit without any issue in the least......Dude is just weak minded.
So you smoked 14 years but then quit. So couldn't people say of you during those 14 years you were weak minded?

I feel bad for the kid ........ but lets be honest, he has been a huge disappointment even when he has been allowed to play ....... so football wise we are just losing a jag.

Not really since his job apparently did not require that of him to make millions of dollars.

I would bet my next 3 paychecks Gregory has had the best treatment options money could buy, at no cost to him, courtesy of the Dallas Cowboys. Yet he still cannot kick this habit. Some people you just cannot help. Heartless as this may sound it's time to pull the plug on this boy.
