Undisputed:I’ll give Dak the five-week excuse, but

My favorite part was when it was essentially over and Romo said this is when the QB begs his OC for a shot at getting a meaningless TD pass at the end of the game to make his numbers look better and sure enough that is exactly what happened.

Kinda like playing your starters against Philly 3rd stringers last year to meet/surpass contract incentives.

Yep, These are your Jerry and McCheese Cowboys.

And a large portion of boxscore analysts here who are stats over wins types.

Most don't even watch the game and only interest is fantasy numbers.

Their posts are funny and obvious.

Do people actually believe skip when he says he’s a cowboy fan?

Nah, not really.

I think it was assigned to him at some point around 2010 or 2011. From 2006-2008ish he dogged the Cowboys pretty hard. Made fun of Romo and his injured pinky. Called T.O. "Team Obliterator".

Funnily enough, one of the first times SAS debated him on First Take, SAS defended the Cowboys.

There's a lot more history with Bayless and the Cowboys, but it's pretty clear to me that he just marries himself to buzzworthy figures for ratings sake.

I just knew the Trashman was going to jump on that garbage opportunity. I wish he had let one of the backs get the TD.

I'm not sure I understand the criticism though. We're they intercepted? Then why are we discussing easily interceptable balls? If the defended doesn't get it and we make the play that's a good thing yes?
Don't worry, the "almost interception" argument is back in full swing now that Dak is back.

But if anyone pointed out one of the handful of "almost interceptions" Rush had in his 5 games, the two that were called back, and/or the 3 Ints against the Eagles, not a single one of those was Rush's fault.

There is no reasoning with some folks.

He has 1 TD and 1 INT through 7 1/2 quarters of play.

I'm not impressed.

Your theme dislike saying for the day. This was like the 5th time in different threads you posted this.
As you never answered my question.....So Dak's passing to get inside the 5, for Zeke to get 2 rushing TD's does not count?
He did it a 3rd time, but Detroit expected a run, and a great play call (for once) by Moore getting a wide open Hendershot for a TD. That is what they are supposed to do.

This is what fans want...run inside the 5. You know, how Aikman got us inside the 5 with passing to Irvin only to hand it off to Emmitt for TD's.

First off, it’s not “your offense”, you phony little drama Queen. Secondly, most Cowboy fans dislike you almost as much as your braying, horse faced partner.

Pappy, I trust you’re not a Skippy fan, either. Right?

Was anybody really impressed by Dak's play yesterday?
Don't think his performance was impressive yesterday.....but I did give him considerations for being rusty....though interceptions almost surfaced....19-25 wasn't bad.

Even though we won with Cooper.....I was never impressed, but Cooper got the benefit and low bar for being a safe game manager. We expected Cooper to drive and stay in the right lane, and Dak to drive in the left lane....and salary doesn't simply decide that......Dak is better than Cooper.....and that's no shame on Cooper.

He played fine besides those two ill advised throws into triple coverage. The 2nd actually was a great throw that should have been caught though.

Don't you know that Skip is actually our offensive coordinator

Sure, but we can't just depend on that luck to always happen.

Things need cleaned up.

Dak looked bad in game 1 and while the stats were better the offense was still pretty bad. Had they not gotten the 5 turnovers you wouldn't know the difference between this game and most of rushes game. What is sad is this is a last place defense and this offense led by Dak sucked most of the game.

Yeah I have saw it. If he makes the first play of that game it would have been a blow out. I did not like the call. But if it worked then it’s points.

I don't know?

Shouldn't Dak be more impressive though?

He just looked like a better paid Cooper Rush.
Rush may have made the first pass of the game. But there will be other plays later Dak will make that Rush could not. Be patient..

At least he played in the game.

It was reported yesterday that Dak hand picked the Lions game to come back to.

He wanted no part of the Eagles.
If you were not 100% and knew you were not going to be 100% for the egirls game and still not be 100% for lions game would you have put your team at a even bigger disadvantage by playing in the egirls game..

Dak is 7-3 against the Eagles. Some are still trying to sell the narrative that he is "afraid" of them and yet the narrative was before this, that Dak was going to rush back because he was "scared" of Cooper Rush taking his job.
