dak was ready and would have played and probably lost the eagles game.

Dak owned the east last 2 years, but this isnt last year, he doesnt own the new east, not yet anyway.
I could say rush owned the east too, he was 2-0 and then 2-1.

Basically the defense is carrying the offense this season.

I 100% think he was fine last week.

He wasn't on the injury report at all for Lions week.

You can't tell me he was to hurt to play Sunday night, but is fine enough to not even be on the injury report a couple days later.

Nah, I don't buy it and you shouldn't either. We have to see it for what it is. I don't think he was scared of the Eagles. I just think he knew the chances of him playing bad against Detroit was much slimer than the Eagles.

Also, he wasn't going to come back, play bad, and us lose with Cooper Rush leading us to 4-0 without him. Everything worked out for him Sunday night.

The Cowboys didn't beat the Bucs in week 1, so the narrative still remains that the Cowboys can't beat Tom Brady. Just like we are going to see the narrative of Rodgers record vs the Cowboys, when Dallas plays the Packers in a few weeks. Rodgers beating Cowboys teams, whose rosters are completely different from the 2022 Cowboys and beating Cowboys players who haven't been a part of the Cowboys for years, will not stop the media and some fans from bringing up and mentioning Rodgers complete career record against the Cowboys.

So the whole "QB vs team" stat line, isn't just something that's used when it comes to Dak vs the Eagles. The Eagles still have not beaten the Cowboys with Dak as the QB since 2019. The Cowboys with Dak, have beaten the Eagles during seasons in which some believed them to have the better roster and team and in which some picked them to beat the Cowboys in a particular match up. The Eagles still have to show up to beat a Dak lead Cowboys team, no matter how good they are believed to be this season. IN the same way that the Cowboys are still going to have to show up to beat a Rodgers lead Packers team, despite the Packers struggling right now.

People here said same things about rush having 3 balls that could have been Int.
also they complained about only scoring 17 points a game, and thats all dak would have had if not for defense getting the late turnovers.

So to me dak was about the same as rush in that game, and it was against a lesser team than rush was playing.
Detroit did play a good def game though, better than they had been doing.

so what I wonder, is the rust off now?? does dak need 1 or 2 more games? who knows.

It was a win, so move on to next game, but dak was not the great qb or much improvement over rush that many expected.
But he did ok, and that was good enough to win.

I think had detroit scored the td instead of fumbling at the one, or if they could /would have challenged the previous td play, the game might
have turned out different. I think they gave up after that fumble.

I think the Rush situation is mute. He is the backup period. There is zero chance he will be out in over a healthy Dak. There is much to be seen still but the way some of these folks are talking, infinite whatifs and we could have won the sb 5 straight times.

Was anybody really impressed by Dak's play yesterday?

I was more impressed by Dak’s play and his second half QB rating over 130 than I was Kellen Moore’s playcalling. The game could have been over much earlier if Moore didn’t keep calling such stupid plays on 3rd and 1 or even inches. He just loves a reverse and that stupid reverse option toss, both geared to trick the defense to gain 1 yard, and they almost never work.

If he can improve his recognition and timing he will be a bigger threat to opposing defences.

He’s clearly turned against Dak. He liked him when he first took over the team, but in the last couple of years he’s become a Dak hater.
