If you were not 100% and knew you were not going to be 100% for the egirls game and still not be 100% for lions game would you have put your team at a even bigger disadvantage by playing in the egirls game..
You really buying that he wasn't too hurt last week but had zero limitations all week practicing for the Lions?

Come on now.

It was reported that he hand picked the Lions game. He wanted no part of the Eagles.

Dak is 7-3 against the Eagles. Some are still trying to sell the narrative that he is "afraid" of them and yet the narrative was before this, that Dak was going to rush back because he was "scared" of Cooper Rush taking his job.
Because past records matter and teams don't get better or worse from season to season.

Did you pick the Cowboys to beat the Bucs even though we've never beaten a Tom Brady lead team? Did you take into account the past record for that one? I'll guess not.

Also, it was a narrative until the news broke that Dak chose the Lions game to come back then it became the truth right from the source.

Your theme dislike saying for the day. This was like the 5th time in different threads you posted this.
As you never answered my question.....So Dak's passing to get inside the 5, for Zeke to get 2 rushing TD's does not count?
He did it a 3rd time, but Detroit expected a run, and a great play call (for once) by Moore getting a wide open Hendershot for a TD. That is what they are supposed to do.

This is what fans want...run inside the 5. You know, how Aikman got us inside the 5 with passing to Irvin only to hand it off to Emmitt for TD's.

so true AikmN would work Irvin/ Novacek to move the chains , through in a few runs A swing pass to moose then as you date inside the 5 Emmitt for the score

anytime we were inside the 10 I felt TD coming

He is damned either way. He didnt play well as he could have this week. Clearly not 100%. Some of this is staff choice. The week before the egirls game his hand is still clearly swollen.. People that don’t care for him, well they will never be satisfied. They think Rush is the answer. Dak didn’t turn the ball over. Rush turned it over 3 times last week. They asked him to do something that Dak can barely do in his best games. Heck he missed the first pass of the game that was a TD. Rush would have made that pass. Dak is a better complete QB when healthy.

It does very much matter in the NFL. Since Rodgers and Brady both have winning records against the Cowboys and the Cowboys have never beaten Brady. And has a losing record against Rodgers as a franchise. This is often brought up whenever the Cowboys face either of these QBs. And it's a narrative which will stay in place until the Cowboys start to pick up more wins against one of the both of them. So the same remains for Dak when it comes to the Eagles, until they start to beat Dak more in the future, then the narrative remains is that Dak has very good games against the Eagles. While they have a difficult time beating him, even with some of the better teams they have had recently.

The Eagles only 2 wins against the Cowboys recently, came against the Cowboys back up QBs. Yet some want to push the narrative that Dak is "afraid" of the Eagles.

My favorite part was when it was essentially over and Romo said this is when the QB begs his OC for a shot at getting a meaningless TD pass at the end of the game to make his numbers look better and sure enough that is exactly what happened.
Quite but we all knew it was coming. We all watched the Denver game last season. Stats Prescott.

He’s right. Dak had a couple good drives but other than that he was tentative. I’m hopeful he’ll improve.

Not a great week to bash Dak imho.

He wasn't razor sharp (that first pass rolling left was a clear miss), but he threw a few more nice passes in the 2nd half.

The O was MOSTLY derailed by terrible short yardage play calls all afternoon (runs), and penalties.

facts are not allowed in dak threads just nonsensical babble. This thread started off bad when you qoute anything from skip. Then couple that who started it.

If the news wouldn't have come out yesterday that Dak handpicked the Lions for his comeback then I would put my tin foil hat back on the rack.

So you think he was just as healthy a week ago as he was Sunday. Of course he hand picked a game. If he felt as good last week as he did this week he would have came back for the egirls game. He owns the East. He would have loved to come back and play them. It was not a career decision. He is paid and guaranteed is guarenteed.

I'm not sure I understand the criticism though. We're they intercepted? Then why are we discussing easily interceptable balls? If the defended doesn't get it and we make the play that's a good thing yes?
People here said same things about rush having 3 balls that could have been Int.
also they complained about only scoring 17 points a game, and thats all dak would have had if not for defense getting the late turnovers.

So to me dak was about the same as rush in that game, and it was against a lesser team than rush was playing.
Detroit did play a good def game though, better than they had been doing.

so what I wonder, is the rust off now?? does dak need 1 or 2 more games? who knows.

It was a win, so move on to next game, but dak was not the great qb or much improvement over rush that many expected.
But he did ok, and that was good enough to win.

I think had detroit scored the td instead of fumbling at the one, or if they could /would have challenged the previous td play, the game might
have turned out different. I think they gave up after that fumble.
