It doesn't make sense for him to come back. It makes sense to play a healthy Rush and Lance. Draft in the 5 to 8 range and get some outstanding young players and use the 100 million in cap space and bring in some more players.
Problem is we will just draft another Mazi or Taco with our GM and McClay.

As long as Dak’s under center, it’s always going to be the same ending every season. I can’t understand how a few can’t see this. Lots were only converted after the talent starting going down around Dak. 21 all pros at every other position can not help Dak.

Dak should have been gone after that first playoff loss to 49ers few years ago. Now here we are. Stuck with that ridiculous contract. Lol
I really really thought Jerry had 'got it' after that game.. he looked truly devastated that we had lost and mentioned that "he through we had the edge at QB to win" or something to that effect.. which made me think finally he could see that Dak just didn't have it. But then we just went right back to it.

At this point I literally do not understand how anyone who watches the Cowboys semi frequently can actually honestly evaluate Dak higher than a B+ bus driver/game manager style QB. And how the heck do you pay the highest NFL contract in history to a game manager? I just don't get it. Dak had 8 seasons, some of the best squads assembled and hasn't even got us to the SB, let alone win it.

I don't know what else you can do.. or say.. it just makes no sense.

Lol, that's ridiculous. If they are drafting high, a good chance that they get some good players plural. They certainly should get a good running back in this draft.

Wishing him a good recovery!

An injury to anyone is not a good thing to wish for or rejoice about.

With that said. I hope the Cowboys learn to live without him and move on at least for the rest of the season; too late contract and money wise but with good results these next 8 weeks something entertaining can happen on and off the field

This is good news, so Dak can throw this season away. Dude was struggling, the injury was mercy. Hope dude gets well soon.

Now it's time to evaluate these players for next season, yes, they're done from my perspective back in March/April done.

If there is NOT a QB1 change for the roster next season expect the same pretty much maybe going 9-8 (as we won't have a 1st place schedule) and there will be more dogs to feast on.
A coaching change will NOT make the slightest difference.
See this team needs a Ravens 2000 defense to win and a rookie Zeke along with a top 5 offline and that is a fantasy land scenario with our cap situation being what it is.

It's sounding more and more, he'll be out the rest of the season.
And why not? This season is a disaster. The Cowboys weren’t winning with Prescott, and they’re not going to win without him either.

By the time he might potentially be ready, the team will be out of contention anyway.

If they are discussing surgery, then it is probably a grade 3….or close to it. He won’t be back until the Summer workouts.
If he doesn't have surgery and it's partially torn off the bone that tells me he could tear it more next year and the Cowboys are in the same boat.

My prediction.

He's done for the season. He takes it easy in 2025 training camp as a precaution. Then a couple of games into the regular season - when his regular season salary is guatanteed - the hammy goes again. He then retires after being a June '26 cut.
Bingo! My thoughts exactly

Doesn't want to be knocked out...that's only for when he's getting a tattoo so it doesn't make him cry.
When it pertains to his Tattoos he is truly La Champion!!!
A panic riddled with limited talent idiot player who won the Jerry Lotto when 2 NOT 1 but 2 QB went down so he could sit in the driver's seat with a loaded roster to carry him.
