has any one heard one or know off hand how his rehab of his knee is going?

Every report I've heard is that his rehab is progressing better than planned, and he plans to start the season.

That said, he's the centerpiece of my championship fantasy football team (it's a dynasty/auction style) and I'm still planning to sign/draft a solid starting QB for those first few weeks of the season just in case.

I want a repeat this year :)

I wouldn't expect much from him this year. Given he isn't a scrambler but much of a quarterbacks velocity is thru the legs and hips, since he will be compensating he may lose zip on some of his passes leading to more incompletions and interceptions. Worst case scenario he developes arm trouble from trying to compensate for leg drive.

I was just saying he may have a average year with equal number of TD's to INT's. CJ and TJ numbers will be down some and their running game should have more yards. A knee injury like his usually takes a full 16-18 months to heal but do not forget about the psychological effects also that sometimes linger, look at all the Penn State backs after major knee injuries, they didn't last too long in the NFL

thats just false, i tore my acl and alot more just a few months ago, and im running now, there is simply no way this is going to take a full 16-18 months to be back where i was. With the kind of rehab programs he is on, im sure he will be the same if not better 4-6 months after surgery.
