I can wait all summer
So why wait till now to do this ??I know people hate on him, but I trust Jerry when it comes to stuff like this. I think this is a genius move by him. All it takes is one team to fall in love with Romo and cough up some good draft picks and trade as long as he agrees to take a pay cut.
Plus, if a team that Romo isn't really too fond of offers a big trade, I think Jerry will do it. He's protecting the relationship with Romo because he's giving him the opportunity to create his own market.
3-7pmWHAT time does that show come on ?
I see he has one of the jg mantra shirts on lol
No way that he retiresI think he retires.
That would be awesome and I would love to watch the qbs at Denver and Houston try to play. John Elway is so full of bs.I'm going to laugh when he goes to a team other than the two obvious ones.
It is actually a huge update and now we will be able to see who is actually interested and no more bs.So, basically the update is there is no update.
Jacksonville would be a good fit.The problem is, Romo wants a SB. What possible contenders, aside from Denver or Houston, don't have starting QB's? Romo is not going to play for a team that is not ready to contend.....
Np, they haven't. Houston has pick 57 and Denver has pick 51. Denver has 10 picks.Houston and Denver already lost their 2nd round picks....part of the reason they are hell bent on not losing any more picks.
I think more than that. More than 1 team should be interested. I think at least a 3rd round pick. All of this for what...maybe a 5th or 6th round pick.
They are full of it too.hope we get something. Most of the media thinks it's not going to change anything.
If we keep Romo and Cam Newton doesn't recover or Big Ben gets injured in August and we get a 1st and a 3rd like PHI got for Bradford would these couple extra months of drama be worth it?...Absolutely
Especially since we only gain unspendable cap space if we release him
I can wait all summer
The Cowboys aren't gambling. The teams that are gambling are Houston, Denver, and Jacksonville. Their qbs suck, they aren't going to win anything with the qbs that they have. That is right. I guess most teams are willing to make moves early in the season and only pay up for something in desperation late in the season. So are we gambling for someone to have an injured qb this year?
I've been saying for a month to let Romo talk to teams. To me, the main purpose is to try and flush out one more interested team. If a team takes Jerry's offer and opens up talks with Romo, it will force Houston's hand and they will have to start talking trade. This simple action may be enough to get Houston to move before any other team goes behind their back and grabs Romo.
Good catch, ramboNp, they haven't. Houston has pick 57 and Denver has pick 51. Denver has 10 picks.
That'd be great!I think more than that. More than 1 team should be interested. I think at least a 3rd round pick.
