should have been Holmes instead of Coale..we decided to keep a 6'5 body catcher over a talented reciever...

Can't argue either way...neither one did lick

If Coale ends up being another Jimmy Smith situation, well...I'm gonna......grrrrr!

Looks more and more likely that they will pick up someone - doubt we go with 8 Oline.

Agreed

Emp., in your opinion, did Beasley make Coale expendable?

Yeah, I think so. That's the feeling I had back in Week 2.

But I would rather have Coale over Holmes. I like having speed as opposed to size.

That's really the only cut that surprises me. Looks like we might start the season with only 8 OL.

His play last night was less than inspiring.

Before people start blowing up over the Cowboys keeping McGee or AoA or anyone else, remember that only HALF of the cuts have been revealed.

There's still hope...

Honestly, he hasn't looked all that overly talented to me in the preseason games he's played. Holmes outperformed him last night, as a matter of fact. Pretty sure Holmes is also much better in special teams.

It's kinda humorous to me how the collective messageboard heros and goats get collectively decided.

The only one that really disappoints me is the Coale release

Hamilton was a pet cat but I understand the logic....
Lemon? He played well....but like someone mentioned before....you keep him and then your still looking for a upgrade.

I really do understand the Coale release. You cant win...as a 5th rd pick a spot on the 53 if you cant show something during training camp. And then you have a UFA Beasley come in and do what we expected Coale to do.

So I fully understand the logic. But imho Coale has some talent ...and its ashame we were unlucky to have him injured for a long period of time. Another team will benefit from our misfortune...

So Im really hoping Coale makes it to the PS

Why are the bubble guys getting cut, while the no-brainers like AOA and Benford still around? It's scaring me.

Unforgiveable that this buffoon Mcgee is being brought back over some of these other guys. How he survives year after after year is beyond me.

do you have some information that he is definitely being kept?

we can only hope jj was serious in that another team was interested in McGee.

True, but I think Beasley is going to get physically broken in half. He has the body of an eighth grader.

Yes, because Wes Welker is so injury prone.

He was a pet cat of mine, too, but he lost out to Beasley, head-to-head. There's little doubt about that.

nope
he lost out to jerry pet cat holmes

you know, the tall guy that cant run routes or catch?

keeping AOA, mcgee, and holmes are all questionable questionable moves IMO

I think people are getting a little crazy here. The guy caught two balls in the preseason and the coaches see these guys every day in practice. Are there mistakes made on cut down day? Sure. More often than not though NFL coaches do get it right.

I would have kept Coale. Hamilton had a chance to shine last night and he didn't.

Hopefully we sign Lemon to the PS.

The Cowboys always perferrred size in their WR position....its just the nature of the beast here....I would of kept Coale too......

Its too bad...
