Last I saw the ESPN playoff machine was up and running again. It confirmed Dallas needs to win out with Philly dropping a game for the Cowboys to win the division.
You’re using the term trap game completely wrong. That’s an easy game before a hard game when you overlook that easy opponent. In what universe is an 11 win team a trap game? loland I aint buying it. Thats way too much. This screams trap game again. We need our A game to beat them.
That’s correct. This also gets Dallas the 2 seed based on tiebreakers over Detroit and PhillyLast I saw the ESPN playoff machine was up and running again. It confirmed Dallas needs to win out with Philly dropping a game for the Cowboys to win the division.
Yes, sir. Still not in control of our our destiny except that the Cowboys really have to win out to have a chance. That would be good news. At least we don't have to solely rely on the giants.
I agree on the points, but there’s absolutely zero chance the team takes this game lightly. If anything, they’ll come in too high and stupid mistakes happen because if that. Things like RTP, Dak air mailing balls, etc.and I aint buying it. Thats way too much. This screams trap game again. We need our A game to beat them.
They played each other and one team won by three touchdowns. Curiously you were absent that weekFootball is the only sport where fans delude themselves into believing it is better to look good in a loss than to look bad in a win. That never happens in basketball, hockey, or baseball. The Eagles have played a more difficult schedule through 15 games than the Cowboys, have twice as many wins against teams that currently have winning records, and somehow football fans can rationalize the team with the easier schedule and less wins is the better team. I guess that does make for interesting banter on fan forums. I’m going to check out a Panthers forum and find out why Carolina is actually the best team in the NFL.
neither can 30 other teamsI just hate we have to play the niners again, they have the perfect offense and Defense to beat us and we cant do anything about it.
because Ive watched my Cowboys drop games like this for many years now, thats why. You’re using the term trap game completely wrong. That’s an easy game before a hard game when you overlook that easy opponent. In what universe is an 11 win team a trap game? lol
Hurts isn't a guy that turns the ball over a lot. That's the last thing I would bank on for a Giants upset. And the Giants aren't a good enough team to have a lead at the end of the game where he could be throwing Hail Mary low percentage passes that could get it intercepted. You can't count on All-Pro receivers falling down enabling the other team to just catch a INT from him. They just don't have the offense to score with them. Giants Stadium for them isn't home-field advantage. If it's dry, and not raining on a turf field the Eagles will beat them worse than they did in their own stadium in the rain on grass. They don't have to be to beat this Eagles team. As far as the Giants only scoring 10 points on offense. No two games are the same. We do know that Hurts turns the ball over a lot.
He's turned the ball over 18 times this year so far.Hurts isn't a guy that turns the ball over a lot. That's the last thing I would bank on for a Giants upset. I am much much more worried about us losing to Detroit. A good team that can score, and play defense. To me the only chance the Eagles have losing is Arizona. Not probable, but at least there isn't familiarity with Arizona. I realize they've only mustered up about 3 wins all year 1 of which was against us, but you never know.
Yea. 2023 Hurts has given it up a lot. He's turned the ball over 18 times this year so far.

Have you watched those 17 turnovers? About half of them he had no control over. I say about 9 or so were his fault, and that's rare even for that many. I'm not saying he doesn't turn the ball over, I'm just saying he usually doesn't put their defense in a bad position from his turnover. He'll throw low percentage passes like Seattle at the end of the game when a Hail Mary is his only option. He's turned the ball over 18 times this year so far.
Well it's actually 18 and no I haven't. I don't need to. 18 turnovers is 18 turnovers and that is too many for one player especially QB.Have you watched those 17 turnovers? Giants have no one that can generate the type of offense that he does. They have no QB that's accumulated 35 touchdowns. I think that's more than darn near every quarterback in football except for Josh Allen with 40.
I think it's 17. I haven't been able to find that 18th, not that it matters. Well if 17 turnovers is too many for you then I guess you would skip taking a quarterback like Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, Brett Favre, Peyton Manning, and I'm guessing Joe Montana as well without looking. That's a lot of Hall of Fame QBs you'd leave on the table for turning the ball over. Yikes! I see several years Tom Brady had more turnovers than that, a lot more. Have you ever taken a look at Troy Aikman? He routinely had more turnovers than touchdowns by quite a bit. Romo was no stranger to lots of turnovers. That's why I don't understand the Dak hate. He to has had seasons with more than 17 turnovers but if you compare his numbers to other cowboy quarterbacks they measure up excellent. If you think 17 is too many for a QB that nets you twice that in TD's you're leaving a lot of Hall of Famer's on the draft board. There's a lot of Super Bowl's you wouldn't win.Well it's actually 18 and no I haven't. I don't need to. 18 turnovers is 18 turnovers and that is too many for one player especially QB.

Your site is inaccurate. https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/4040715/jalen-hurts 17 turnovers.It's 18

I don't care what QB I'd leave on the table. You said he doesn't turn the ball over a lot and HE DOES. That's the only thing I'm saying and been saying.
We can beat them. The ravens B slapped them up, and down the field. We can to.I just hate we have to play the niners again, they have the perfect offense and Defense to beat us and we cant do anything about it.
Goodness who cares 17 or 18 19 20 which he’s eventually going to have is a lot of turnovers. Imagine Dak with 20 turnovers we’d never hear the end of it. Can’t have it as the leader of the team.Your site is inaccurate. https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/4040715/jalen-hurts 17 turnovers.
That's correct I said he doesn't turn the ball over a lot, and I stand by that. I also said he's got more touchdowns than everybody in football except Josh Allen this year. And the Giants don't have anyone in their lineup that can compete with that production. It's also the reason I bet real money against a giant upset because I apply logic. You should care if you care about winning. I don't know about you, but I would love to have everyone of those current, and potential future Hall of Fame quarterbacks that throw a lot of interceptions as you say, and win championships, and a lot of football games for their teams.
I never complained about Dak's 16 turnovers last year, because it's a foolhardy exercise when you don't know if they are the reason for the turnover that gets accredited to them. That's the problem with that stat applied to a QB. In particular why I don't say 17 turnovers means he's a QB that turns the ball over a lot. I know better.Goodness who cares 17 or 18 19 20 which he’s eventually going to have is a lot of turnovers. Imagine Dak with 20 turnovers we’d never hear the end of it.
