Updated scenario please?

What happens if the Giants lose, and the Commanders win next week? How will that change our chances for the playoffs?

So if either Carolina or Washington lose next win combined with a Boys win and they are in... Correct?

Yes

(and we have the tiebreaker over Minnesota, so they are a non-issue to us)

Well forget about banking on the Eagles. They're getting beat by the Cards...

Go Ron Mexico!!!!

Since the Falcons don't realy have anything to play for can we all chip in and offer Vick a free 1 years supply of herpes meds if they win???

The only thing we have going for us is that both the teams we need to win are playing at home versus a division rival. Anything can happen.

All we need is Carolina or Washington to lose and us win and we are in.

The Giants would have a better div record than us.

the Falcons do have something to play for

knocking a divisional rival out of the playoffs with a win against them

Good question, I don't have the answer though.

Now that I think of it I hope that back-up QB of the Falcons plays umm whats his name Matt Schaub. Vick is playing like crap right now, good thing Atlanta will be at home

If the Falcons would have won, we would have been in a lot better shape.
I was rooting, but they couldn't pull it off.

They will still be 7-4, Baltimore is AFC. Regardless, we need them to lose 1 of their last 2.

TO BREAK A TIE FOR THE WILD-CARD TEAM
If it is necessary to break ties to determine the two Wild-Card clubs from each conference, the following steps will be taken.
1. If the tied clubs are from the same division, apply division tie breaker.
2. If the tied clubs are from different divisions, apply the following steps.

Two Clubs
1. Head-to-head, if applicable.
2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games, minimum of four. (not a factor)
4. Strength of victory. (We own this one)
5. Strength of schedule.
6. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
7. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
8. Best net points in conference games.
9. Best net points in all games.
10. Best net touchdowns in all games.
11. Coin toss.

All we need is for Washington to lose...correct?

That is a tall order in itself with the current Philly team.

All I'kll say is our chances are not good..

Tampa plays the Aints...and Washington plays the beagles.

we need a win first and foremost, and we need a philly win OR an atlanta win.

so, come kickoff....we'll know if we have something to play for or not.

Yeah the good thing about it, is if one those two teams does lose...We'll know before kickoff...game is at home, and we should be fired up and blow out the rams.
