yeah, what was that part about Gatorade and livelihood? and that last part makes no sense, since the NFL won't give anyone a right to market themselves w/o them having to pay for that right

btw, you're missing the point that in order to increase sales, you have to get your name out there, they both go hand in hand, that's why there's such a thing called advertising, and which Gatorade pays the NFL in order to do it w/ the NFL brand behind them
Oh my gosh.

I bring up increasing sales, but I'm missing the point. I draw up a scenario using both, but I'm missing the point. I describe the power of the NFL driving the advertising, but I'm missing the point.

All because you can't see how someone's livelihood can be affected?

Whoosh.

They aren't looking to "get their name out there." Their name is already out there.

hmmmm

you don't seem to think buying rights is solely about advertising themselves, the NFL doesn't give Gatorade anything, Gatorade is the only one paying

If you stick your finger in one ear or the other, that whistling will stop.

You just made my point. The question is can you admit it?

I bet Gatorade employees wouldn't agree with you. To them, successful marketing by the NFL is their livelihood.

It wasn't? Really? My first post is above. The word "marketing" should be the tip off.

oops

then why are we arguing about marketing?
Because for some reason unknown to me you decided to go off on a weird tangent. How my "scenario" about the naming rights of the stadium couldn't have made it clear that I was talking about this is beyond me. In every post except the joking "whoosh" ones I am clearly saying that marketing/advertising matters to those directly affected by it. I even state that point directly.

How that escaped you I have no idea.

They brought this up, on the ticket this morning.
Take a guys head off with a cheap shot, get fine maybe at the most 30K.
Mess with their sponsors, get fined 100K
All about the $$$$$$ and profit, do not mess with the NFL's $$$$$$$.

Could Urlacher wear a cap with the name of his child, old university, Virginia Tech, NRA, Air Force, wife, girl friend, mom? If there are letters on the cap are they restricted to official NFL advertisers?
