Negating 8 games last season is good analysis?
I’m not sure what your point is, but Dak was mediocre in those games as well.

That still requires making the leap that because the playcalling doesn't have Dak doing something , that he can't do it.
I'm not explaining such an elementary concept. Also, Google mediocre.I’m not sure what your point is, but Dak was mediocre in those games as well.

I'm saying where is the actual evidence that Dak's limitations is the reason they don't call under center passing plays.I’m not sure what you mean. Linehan for example basically said Dak isn’t your typical throw deep passer, but he will have to make the throws at times. Again, Linehan and the traditional Coryell offense they were operating here was typical five step drops with Romo and attacking the outside of the hashes, inward. They used limited play action as well.
All of it changed with Dak. The OCs have changed the play calling significantly further Dak’s limitations.
YES! Maher doesn't fill me with confidence. He can use his legs. He has been accurate, he is throwing deep. Do you want him to kick the extra points also.

Of course, the Cowboys want to tailor what they do to Prescott’s strengths. They did that in his rookie year when he took over for Romo, getting him outside the pocket with bootlegs and waggles that keep the reads simple. Those plays were not as successful in 2017, and the Cowboys could not get the ball to Cole Beasley. Beasley led the Cowboys with 75 catches in 2016. He had 36 receptions in 2017.
“It’s an offense that lets him be unpredictable. It gives him the best way to be hard for the defense in the sense of game planning for him,” Jones said. “I’d certainly love for him to be able to hurt them from the pocket. We’d love for him to be able to hurt them on the run -- and to run. We’re not necessarily interested in increasing the number of runs. I think we’ve got a lot more options as far as how to get him on the run in the passing game, and giving him a better pocket and having better blocking. You might say protection, but the way to get that done is to be imaginative in the running game. Some of the college stuff needs to be thought about here. That’s a big part of the conversation that’s going on at the office.”
So he wants his receivers open. Wow. What a interesting thought.Besides that fact, Dak is always extremely conservative on third down, rated among the least aggressive and worst. Dak on third and long rarely ever challenges and no team is scared of him. The Saints game if third and long revealed it once again, where he targeted Zeke seven times on basically dump-offs.
The theory of the author this that it’s mainly play calling is a crock. Dak ‘is at his best’ throwing downfield when guys are open and he’s decisive on his read often against man coverages. Throwing downfield isn’t the same as third and long or situations where your going traditional drop back and facing cover 2, which is why just like the Saints game, Dak doesn’t take risks.
Linehan was aggressive here and even Jason as a play-caller tried attacking downfield first. Linehan had no problems throughout his career attacking downfield.

This offensive line hasn’t given so there’s that. I can understand why someone would want a solid pass protection being the highest paid unit in the league. That makes sense. This is the NFL, where the big boys play... his fans also want ten second pockets otherwise it’s the OL’s fault..
If there is a position that doesn't produce or that makes mistakes, that's not an excuse - that's what actually happened. That includes Prescott. Like his INT, maybe we win if we complete that. Maybe id Elliott and Witten didn't fumble, we win. Maybe if the O line could block we would have had more than 50 yards rushing. All you do is blame Prescott and it's clearly obvious as to what your warped agenda is.This is the NFL, where the big boys play... his fans also want ten second pockets every game otherwise it’s the OL’s fault and OC and Zeke and everybody else.. and if he gets it, it’s Dak baby!!!

Where the big boys play lol. Dak has shown he can play with the “big boys” lol.

So you still don't understand. It’s cute, but when your OL is ranked number 1, your rushing attack is ranked number 1, your defense is playing lights out, mistakes by those guys you mentioned are exaggerated to absolve Dak of his ineptitude, as well as to exaggerate his ‘successes’.
we know the Dak homers all too well. Dak’s consistent futility is lessened in comparison to the few mistakes or less than elite play one day from what is normally consistently elite.. the facf is even when the latter ‘don’t produce’ that production is still good enough for Dak to win..
You mean where is the evidence for the “Dak-friendly” offense that was talked about every year, including limiting reads, more bootlegs, going more spread, implementing way more of his college offense, including hiring college coaches.

Hey, leave Mr. Ed out of it!No matter how good the jockey is if the horse is Mr. ED you ain't winning the Kentucky derby!
Then go away hater and start your own hate thread. Cowboys nation is about the love of the team. Don't like it, then leave. Now Geeet....Solid thread and conversation point. Lost all credibility with the Dak lovers nonsense though.
Yeah those stats are all good until you see Zeke getting destroyed and no it’s not because of 8 man fronts.yeah, I mean being sacked a whopping 3 times and having guys like Lael Collins ranked number 1 by PFF and Dallas OL being among the top including least pressure rate for Dak is just awful..
But OK..
