I just checked out the link, and it says he's only agreed to terms but hasn't signed yet. It was reported that TO agreed to terms like 2 days before he signed. Vanderjagt is already at VR so it may speed things up, but they probably won't announce it until tomorrow.

The article does not say that we signed but rather that we have agreed to terms with him, not a sure thing till he signs the contract but still good news...

great kicker for dallas stadium. he should be almost automatic this year. lets just hope he can make some clutch fg's.

Not always only since 2003 when he was injured he wanted his duties back upon health but they declined. Cortez was there last year as kick- off specialist. His kick-offs prior were average to low but his FG % are great.
