You saw what he did in college but every NFL team, including the Cowboys, passed on him in the draft multiple times. If any team thought he could impact games he’d have been gone long before the sixth round. At best he’ll be a contributor, which is a success for a running back selected in the sixth round in the contemporary NFL. My eyes see the Cowboys don’t have Texas Tech and Baylor on their schedule this season. 5’ 5”, 175 lbs. will provide limited production and hopefully one or two exciting moments in a 17 game season.
ahem...Brady went in the 6th. Moot point

I don't think either of them have much of a season. I love Zeke, but I can't see him rushing for more of anything than what he did last season. Damien Harris had 106 attempts for 462 yards and 3 TDs last year with the Pats and I'd guess Zeke will average somewhere around the same and be one of Matt Jones best friends in pass protection.

Deuce has to make the game day roster first then I'd expect maybe a couple of hundred yards and a couple of TD's with some really electric moments. I could care less about his size, but he's still a rookie 6th round pick and we all need to remember that. I think Deuce's best chance comes as a return man. I realize it's not something he did in college, but that was mainly because he was K-State's feature back. He's also got Turpin in front of him, but KaVontae doesn't have Deuce's football pedigree. Deuce looks so fluid in the open field making people miss that he seems like a natural return man that can also add value in the running and passing game. For me personally there's only room for one of these type players on the roster and it comes down to Turpin or Vaughn. I'll let the coaches decide.

I hope they all do well. Zeke was a great teammate and I think he'll fit in a Belichick locker room well. Deuce is obviously a blast to watch run and would make a good underdog story as does Turpin coming from the USFL. I'll be pulling for them all on Sundays, Mondays, Thursday's, and sometimes Saturday's.

The thought that Deuce is going to be a pure RB2 is laughable, especially when Pollard himself is such a good receiving back and will get most of the 3rd down work.

He's going to get 6-8 touches a game, maybe.

I remember all this talk last year on how Turpin will dominate going into the season. He rolled his way to zero touchdowns. I’ll hold my excitement until I see how Deuce is used

One is a short yardage specialist with no home run ability so this wouldn't really be a surprise.

Save your breath and let them indulge.
Im done trying to be rational on here. Im just waiting it out until the actual football evaluators and team managers decide who they keep and who they dont.
My opinion doesnt matter and Ive said my piece. Seeing 1 or 2 duece threads a day and the same crew proclaiming to know more than anyone else in the NFL or about talent evaluation and roster management is nauseating to say the least though. But they get a pass for whatever reason. Detractors get called out as haters or starting arguments.
It is what it is.

You can go ahead and mark down that everyone is going to be good. You were even talking up Will Grier the other day.
Is there something wrong will Will Grier as a backup? They will cut him and bring him back.

After Saturday, my pecking order would be Pollard, Vaughn, Dowdle, Davis, but that could change this next game. Vaughn showed the type of elusiveness these other backs lacked. Granted, he was going against lesser defenders.
I definitely think his skills will translate. He had great games against top college defenses as well, which were stocked by current NFL players.

That NE offense just isn't very good and they play in a very tough division.

Someone's on crack if they think Zeke is getting 900 yards rushing. 100 carries at 3yards per = 300 yard max.
no telling how many he gets , but BB culture is way better than dallas, and getting away from dakko, and jerry may be enough for him
to be a different RB.

Than Zeke, ya huurd meh? I'm taking bets playbois!!!
Zeke will get more carries based on his salary.

Deuce is the better back. But he wont be able to pass block.

If NE uses him as short yardage and max protect only he could be useful.

But their #1 is better in all
Phases.

If that’s true, we’re going to have some problems this season. He’s a talented player, but we’re going to have to be able to run consistently between the tackles and move the chains or we’re going to be relying on Dak, and our kicker. Our backs are also going to be asked to block a lot this season. If we struggle to pick up a yard, it’s going to lead to some major problems. Plus we have some concerns on our OL.
Do not doubt deuces ability to run between the tackles. Hes great at it.

Some need to stop thinking that only big backs can go up the middle.
