I agree with about half the list. There is very little on the defensive side of the ball that excites me. I really dont get the Church love, the guy cant cover. If they replaced about nine starters on defense with guys that could actually play , I'd call it a major step in the right direction.

The one player the offence could benefit greatly coming back form injury would be Lance Dunbar.

Right now this team does not have any one who could take the ball at the scrimmage line and threaten the defence with taking it all the way to the house.

Dunbar is the one player we have who can beat DBs in a foot race. This team could use more quick strike threats.

We have a 3-down back that needs more touches already and has a 91-yard TD run on his resume. Lance is a nice change of pace back and I like the role that he has now. Spell Murray, hold on to the ball and if you can bust one, bust it.

Agree on Church.

He's the equivalent of RW31 in coverage.

George Selvie was hard to take seriously.

Gotta add Mr. Automatic Dan Bailey to that list too. He's gonna be our kicker for the next 10 years. Has already kicked 8 game winners (a franchise record) and there's no doubt he'll kick more in the future.

This list makes me want to use all our draft picks on the defense...and maybe a QB. Our offense looks to be young and solid for the most part.

We need Escobar to become something.

I'm not sure about "the next 10 years". I think he is a FA?

George Selvie and now a kicker.

We're really scraping the bottom of the barrel.

I'd like to think we would be in a position we wouldn't need his services at the end of games any more.

Not saying its from you, but I was made to believe this passing game was strapped with weapons (Dez, Witten, Cole, Escobar) that teams couldn't match up against. With those guys, taking up all of the attention, Dez has plenty of distractions on his side to get free of the defense. Williams is a solid #2 and a helluva #3 if we can get better at the position within that 3-5 year span.

Yea I def. am not of that opinion. For me this offense could've potentially been one of the best if Miles could've got back to form but his hammy's have more than likely stopped that from happening. Very average talent at the receiver position.

I think Terrance can be a good #2 in this league. He may be one next year. But just basing off what i've seen? He's a solid #3 at this point.

I don't get the lovefest fans have with Terrance Williams but for a rookie he's solid. Catching with his chest worries me.

Rookie WRs can be MIA and he produced, and made strides. He is a talent but the chest catching can be corrected...he has hands, and shows them on the sideline catches, it is more laziness (got away with in HS/College) on his part that can be coached out of him.

What...you don't like Bailey? You know as well as anyone on this forum that if not for the "kicker" this team would not have won 8 games! That "kicker" was probably the MVP of this team. smh

You say "a kicker" in such a demeaning way...

Bailey has won more games for us than ANY other kicker in Cowboys history. I don't care how good your team is, for our team especially, the kicker can be the most valuable guy on the team. Patriots won two rings because of a kicker, The Ravens missed the Super Bowl because of their kicker, the Bills lost a Super Bowl because of their kicker, the Saints went to the Super Bowl because of their kicker.

Dan Bailey is just as important to this team as anyone else. It would be nice to not need his last minute kicks, but the hard truth is that our team is not good enough to be in that position most of the time.

That's nice but he is not as important as anyone on the team. He's a kicker.

He is not the most important part of the team, but he is just as important TO the team. Stop being obtuse.
