Nice post. .. I'm really hoping we can see Lance Dunbar healthy next season. I was really liking what I saw from him before the injury. ..

The guy im most excited to see next yr is Wilber. If he works on his range this offseason watch out. At the end of the yr he was the LBer playing the best football.

Yea I def. am not of that opinion. For me this offense could've potentially been one of the best if Miles could've got back to form but his hammy's have more than likely stopped that from happening. Very average talent at the receiver position.

I think Terrance can be a good #2 in this league. He may be one next year. But just basing off what i've seen? He's a solid #3 at this point.

I respect that, I got sick of Austin's act last year. Poor angles, injuries, never fighting for the ball just wore on me. I expect twill to work at his craft more importantly and staying in shape. I wouldn't mind a vet in the mix next year not named Austin either.

Disagree about taking targets away from cole for Harris. Cole is night and day better at the slot position. If anything cole needs a few more targets a game. I do agree about everything else you said about Harris though including a trick play or even wildcat package that would allow him to throw downfield. Would be exciting!

Shades of Robert Newhouse....

Our young core will be our old core and a waste if we don't draft well these next couple years. Crucial 2 years coming up.

Gotta add Mr. Automatic Dan Bailey to that list too. He's gonna be our kicker for the next 10 years. Has already kicked 8 game winners (a franchise record) and there's no doubt he'll kick more in the future.

He's an investment we need to make. The sooner the better. Also liked the way he improved his kickoff depth.

I think Bailey needs to be on the list. He is one of the top kickers in the NFL.

I hope Dunbar makes a full recovery. He really has some burst and a nice change of pace for Murray.

I think Wilcox is going to be a stud as well. He is young, raw and very inexperienced. Once he gets it he is going to be a force.

This was a great draft. We need to follow that up with another solid showing this year with more focus on d-line

Rookie WRs can be MIA and he produced, and made strides. He is a talent but the chest catching can be corrected...he has hands, and shows them on the sideline catches, it is more laziness (got away with in HS/College) on his part that can be coached out of him.

If he can do that? He will be a legit #2 in this league. The chest catching won't get him far in this league or this offense. Especially when there are certain passes that you have to come back for? He can't come back for them because he's chest out instead of hands out.

Oh I hear ya, I just saw a couple of examples of TW using his hands on sideline outs, toe tapper catches. So the talent is there to do it. He needs to be coached up on this aspect most definitely but the fact that he was out there producing as a rookie says a lot about his talent/future. Probably the rawest receiver on the team and still was able to produce tends to give me confidence in him as one of the members of the new young core (Smith, Fred, Dez, TW, Lee, Claiborne).

The entire front 7.

Good thing about 4-3 is the LBs seem easier to scoop in later rounds/cheaper FAs. I really thought Carter was Coakley's speed accompanied with size. Didn't account for him not caring about football...

Keep telling yourself that. By the way, a kicker just sent San Francisco to the divisional round of the playoffs.

By kicking a 33 yard FG?

Kickers are accessories. They don't send a team anywhere and they certainly don't belong on a list of young core players.

They don't send a team anywhere? A kicker sent Tom Brady to the hall of fame with 2 game winning, Super Bowl kicks...

I already gave plenty of examples, but you absolutely refuse to believe that a kicker is an important part of a football team. They can singlehandedly win or lose games for teams...
