Very odd quote from Weeden

Matt Cassel will be the QB2 next season behind Romo. If Weeden wishes to continue his career, it will be on another team... thus the comment, nothing "odd" about it.

Though the timing of the comments may be a bit off, I am actually happy Weeden made his feelings known. The net result of his performance could mean a higher demand for his services in 2016 and beyond. And obviously, the better his tape, the better our odds of surviving the next couple of months, so it bodes well for all parties involved.

He and everyone else are all-too aware of his place in Dallas, which is why I have little problem with him putting it out there. Much ado about nothing.
