You must be married... :D

Nope! Just know I can be wrong sometimes. If you admit it people will respect you rather than if you try to avoid it. Just a small lesson in humility.

I thought I was wrong once... but that was a mistake... ;)

I did not read all these posts.

I just woke up this morning and read my USA today. In the paper it said that dogs that did not perform well were hung or were killed by electrocution.

I got this sick feeling in my stomach. I own 3 dogs, two boys, one girl. I love them totally. They are such loyal and good dogs.

To me, I simply do not understand any of this. It goes to show you how low humans are on this planet.

Bottom line, for me, no question, no doubt. Vick should never set foot on a football stadium again. Me, I would hang him or fry him myself.

It better happen or I will never have respect for the game, the last great sport, such low scum of the earth should not set foot on a football field.

So tired of the fools of the world that accept this.

Vick, may you rot in h*ll.

Here are the problems you aren't considering:

1. The American justice system is not infallable, so it's a least possible he could be wrongly accused.

2. In the United States a person is considered innocent until proven guilty.

3. In the event charges are dismissed, Vick possibly could have a case for wrongful termination or something similar - anytime businesses put them in the position of being judge and jury rsther than allowing the law and due process to run its course they have a fine line to walk and had better make sure they are withing their legal rights.

IMO dogs are worhtless. You have your views about dogs and I have mine. There is a reason I have my opinions about dogs.

There are a lot more Worthless people in this world than dogs.

Starting with Ookie. Who knows...maybe you.

Someone who hates Dogs is Screwed in the Head...IMO.

"Unlike previous documents, which did not name Vick, the indictment is littered with his name, including this tidbit — Vick was known as “Ookie” in the dogfighting world."

Well yes whatever your name is, Vick did not have a clue what was going on at his house. You really believe that?? If you do, I have some land to sell you.

OJ was not guilty. Right.

Sorry, there is no excuse, NO EXCUSE.

May you come back next lifetime as a pitbull. One that does not perform so well.

The problem is that, like many others, you aren't stepping back from your emotions and realizing that what you or anyone else anyone sitting at home believes doesn't dictate the law, and as of this point Vick is presumed to be innoncent.

There is nothing you can say to me. Nothing.

Just so you know, I don't care if someone is white, black, green or purple. So get over that. I don't care. Period.

When you are mean, you are mean. It is just that simple.

Vick should never set foot on a football field again.

Oh, by the way, I love my dogs.

Let's turn this around for a second. I accuse you of molesting my son, you claim innocence but cannot prove innocence so I get you indicted even though you still claim innocence. Should you be fired and barred from your job even before a trial because of the charge?

it depends on the job type, if you work directly w/ children, you should at least be suspended

What if there were FOUR people making the same claim?

What you or anyone else at home does dictate is opinion about the NFL - and if Joe or Josephine Q. Public thinks that the NFL is full of dog-fight promoters then they may be less likely to want to be associated with the sport -- and if the casual fan stops watching, advertisers stop giving big bucks, tv broadcast rights sell for less, and gradually, fans start to spend their time watching soccer instead of NFL football.

Court of law makes no difference there.

And that's why the league needs to act.

I work at a rather large company. There was a guy who worked here who was accused of involvement in a gang rape. He proclaimed he was innocent. The General Manager here fired him anyway because he was worried about how the women who work here might feel.

Turns out he was innocent. He was cleared by DNA and by one of the guilty actually copping a plea and absolving him of any and all culpability.

I applaud the GM here for caring about the women who work here and their feelings. Taking a stand for the right sends a right message. Even if it had been me accused I would have understood why he did it.

it's not even really about public opinion, it's about breaking a contract that you signed, if you go under all the layers, that's what it is, a simple matter of breaking a signed, and thusly, binding contract

In the Navy and most likely all service branch, if a male is accused of sexual harassment/improper relationship/fraternization by a female, he is immediately removed from his position and his shop/work center while the accuser remains in place until investigation is completed. If that accused is found innocent, he will return to his position and back to his shop.

I have no idea if he would be welcomed back if he came here asking for a job. He very well might be. He was a hard worker, but he hung out with the wrong guys.

There are people that get accused of things they never did. Not a good thing.

But, does one single person here believe that Vick did not know what was going on at his house??? Stand up and be counted. Does one single person believe that OJ did not slit the throat of two people???

And if you agree it did go on, but you think it is OK, well, I cannot help you. But you are not a nice person, and I have a right you call you on it.

The world has turned very mean. That does not mean we have to accept it. I really do not have to accept it.

I never get to see a Falcons game, but man, if this guy was my QB, I would sit on the sidelines and make mincemeat out of him. I would rather be in the cellar than have him as my QB.
