I dont think so.

Will it be a distraction because of the media and the PETA protests? Yes.

Will he be rusty? Yes.

But I think he is going to be very humble and appreciative. That locker rioom survived TO at his worst. He won't destroy their chemistry.
They went 6-10. I'll take that.

well I wish ESPN would quit showing Vick faking Ware out of his shoes.

funny how they wont show that play of Ware snatching that pass and running it back for a score

Me too. He can only help them.

I'm not exactly thrilled to have to cover a Wildcat with Vick, McNabb, McCoy and Westbrook and then the speed of Jackson and Maclin on the perimiter

I really don't understand the signing. Perhaps they plan to run the wildcat?

Its never a good thing to play against someone with his athleticism. He is not the best passer but I do believe he can pass well enough to keep most teams in the nfl honest. We will see if we fall into that category or not.

Time to pull that va tech jersey out and burn it now. Damn you vick!!!

Vick is not being brought in to be their QB.

They have one of the better ones in the league in McNabb.

Vick will be a package player, in a Wildcat role, or perhaps one that we haven't seen yet.

All I know is I do not like the flexibility it gives the Eagles offense.

Does it matter? The fact is they added a dangerous weapon.

yeah, a guy who cant pass and fumbles the ball alot

you guys have no nads at all...every move another team make always scares the crap out of you...

he wont make one iota's difference for that team this yr

This is an interesting development.

I see it like this ...Michael Vick is the old Donovan McNabb (not in sense of time, but in style). That is ...a QB who uses his running abilities to elude opponents. He is a doulbe threat that can Beat you with his QB skills and
dominant scrambling abilities. The old McNabb used to do that, but is now a threat with is arm strength more than his ability to run the ball. Vick would do well under the tutelage of a QB who has made the transition that Vick must ultimately make. Having Vick as a backup QB could only be a plus; for both McNabb and Westbrook.

Vick should have plenty of time to develop under McNabb; or an additional running back. We'll Keep him for at least a year or two.

guarantee you had we signed him, thats all we'd have seen...all the bad plays he makes...balls thrown behind receivers or into the ground...fumbles, picks etc etc

This guy hasn't played football in over 2 years.

He's been sitting in a prison for the last 2 years.

You think this guy is going to take up where he left off?

I'm not sure I really understand the signing. Yes, he's fast, but what made him special was that he was that athletic as a QB. I'm doubting he'll be playing much QB outside of some gimmick packages and even then, I'm not real sure why you'd want to take the ball out of McNabb's hands and have someone else throw it. That's especially true given that McNabb is pretty mobile himself.
