Now hold on. Troy Aikman definitely says in this next clip that Brooking overreacted. But he didn't call him a 'crybaby'.

He merely states that the actions put him in that light...

I didn't care about the Vikings throwng the ball. Wade was using his timeouts on that drive so the Vikes were still playing ball.

Besides, who cares if you lose 27-3 or 34-3. You still took a beating.

And I seem to remember Keith Brooking doing some similar stuff this season when the Cowboys played the Falcons and Brooking kept running near the Falcons sideline and barking to them about the Cowboys whipping up on them.

He did that to the Falcons because he gave them heart and soul and they got rid of him "because the NFL is for young men" So its not teh same thing.

The term is 'sportsmanship'.

And the players and coaches on the sideline got rid of Brooking?

Think before you speak.

And I don't think either of the two situations was a big deal.

Yeah. With 6:24 left in the game.

And with 12 minutes left he punted from the 46 on 4th and 11 down 20-3 ???

Here's the thing, if Minny had run the ball and scored, I would have no problem with it. If they had thrown the ball to get the first down and we missed tackles and they scored, I would have no problem with it.

They threw it in the endzone, with under 2 minutes left, up by 24 points, and on 4th and 3. That, is what irks me. It isn't that they scored, it's that they intended to rub noses in it.

I will never respect that from any team.

Didn't the 'boys do it to the Eagles? go for it on 4th down up 20......

All this running up the score big talk means doodly squat. If the shoe was on the other foot (ala Falcons) everyone would be praising the action.

not in the playoff game and even if we did what does that have to do with Minnesota? is it cause Childress is former Philly scum?

Oh look who has no clue. A Commanders fan.

Link to the box score of the Eagles Playoff game. 0 for 0 on 4th down.

Then quit talking about it. The rest of us will talk about what we want to and not care if it wads up your panties.

I get it. I see your side.

They could have just took a knee.

As a matter of fact they should have because if Favre took a good shot on that play from Ware or Spencer and got hurt I think Childress gets fired the next day.

But think about this.

When we beat the Eagles in Week 17. We were still throwing at the end of the game also. Romo was tossed up in the air as he was throwing from his own end zone.

Then he was sacked again late in the game after he ran around trying to avoid blitzers. I was going crazy because I wanted him out of the game.

What goes around comes around.

Just because it's the Cowboys doesn't mean I think it's ok we do it and no one else can do it.

But like I said earlier. I didn't really care one way or the other.

And I know Brooking just let the frustration of the season ending get to him.

We did try to stop it a minute before.

And we would have if we had timeouts left.

We couldn't so we didn't.

Hence, no need to try to score points then.

I understand all the stop them if you can nonsense but what they did was classless. There were rubbing it in and wanted to get the old man 4 TDs. They had nothing to lose by just running the ball, making or not making the 1st down.

Wade has class and has done the right thing, when in this position, several times over the last couple of years.

LoL ... hey I have been saying that since week 2.

At least you made it to the Div Playoffs.

Football is lame without your team in it.

Who's your team?

Does this ring a bell?

Dallas Cowboys at 8:47 PHI DAL
1st and 10 at DAL 12 M.Barber up the middle to DAL 15 for 3 yards (S.Jones).
2nd and 7 at DAL 15 T.Romo pass short left to M.Austin to DAL 26 for 11 yards (V.Harris).
1st and 10 at DAL 26 F.Jones left end to DAL 24 for -2 yards (Q.Mikell).
2nd and 12 at DAL 24 M.Barber up the middle to DAL 26 for 2 yards (D.Howard). PENALTY on DAL-A.Gurode, Offensive Holding, 10 yards, enforced at DAL 24 - No Play.
2nd and 22 at DAL 14 (Shotgun) T.Romo pass short middle to J.Witten to DAL 25 for 11 yards (J.Trotter). Pass complete on crossing pattern.
3rd and 11 at DAL 25 (Shotgun) T.Romo pass short right to P.Crayton to PHI 43 for 32 yards (T.White). Pass complete on curl and go pattern.
1st and 10 at PHI 43 F.Jones up the middle to PHI 41 for 2 yards (M.Patterson).
2nd and 8 at PHI 41 F.Jones right guard to PHI 35 for 6 yards (S.Jones).
3rd and 2 at PHI 35 M.Barber right guard to PHI 35 for no gain (M.Fokou).
Timeout #1 by PHI at 02:26.
4th and 2 at PHI 35 (Shotgun) T.Romo sacked at PHI 47 for -12 yards (J.Parker).
DRIVE TOTALS: PHI 0, DAL 24, 9 plays, 41 yards, 6:27 elapsed

Looks to me like Dallas going for a pass on 4th down with about 2 mins left in the game up 24. Did the eagles bend over, take it up the ***, and then cry about it afterwards? no they did something about it and sacked Romo.
