LOL, 5 minutes???...You're clearly a noob to torrents...It's a 4 GB plus file and depending on your connection, it'll take a couple of days to dl...Stick it out and remember to seed once you are done ;)

utorrent is what I use with PCs but I use Transmission with my macbook which is dl'ing this game currently.

Trying to explain torrenting to noobs can be difficult without pics and so I find it easiest for people to simply view guides which are all over the net...To recommend just one, Afterdawn.com has some good guides with pics to take you through step by step.

BTW, many thanks to whomever ripped this bad boy and took the time to convert to DVD

Missed the game and looking forward to seeing it...No, it wasn't fondue this time...Hiking

Uploading licensed information will get deleted trust me. Not only that but your IP will be logged if someone reports you to the NFL.

Torrent is the future because of anonymity.

I read online movie rental companies such as Netflix are offering movies you can download so you might get your wish.
not to derail the thread but you are mistaken

torrenting is anything but anonymous, in fact it directly tracks your IP (ie, home address) where you are downloading and WORSE illegally sharing while you download. with newsgroups downloading is essentially impossible to monitor. uploading is never anonymous, but obviously can be spoofed and uploaded from places where uploading is not illegal.

torrent is the #1 method of MPAA/RIAA litigation for a reason. put up a seed (ie. bait), track IPs of those torrenting then send legal notices. easy $5k collection to avoid civil prosecution. you can't download a torrent unless you expose the file to sharing (uploading) which is illegal.

otoh newsgroups downloads (ie. getting a file from a newsgroup) is essentially almost impossible to track by their sheer nature, nevermind once a post(s) is on the newsgroups it cannot be deleted until the servers let the articles expire. there are newsgroup services offering 120-days retention FYI.

which is why you use peer gaurdian 2
which is essentially useless.

your ISP assigns an IP (usually static too) to your home (router/gateway) that is not easily masked. ;)

It is easy to mask your ip if you know what your doing. Throw encryption in and use ipfilter to block known ranges.

Upload the game and I give it a week before it is deleted.

torrent is legal in other countries not to mention you are not downloading the whole file from a specific user. Newsgroups you can not say that. If you upload a file and 200 people download it you are going to get hit 200 times and they will up the charge to distribution. torrent on the other hand only sends pieces so the most you will get hit with is one offense.

I don't think MPAA/RIAA has ever prosecuted an individual in a torrent case. Sites on the other hand have been targeted and they simply relocate to a friendly country and they cannot do anything about it. Your thinking Kazaa P2P.

Newsgroups are outdated in my opinion but to each his own.

Hey, I downloaded this file, but when I watch it it goes in slow motion part of the time! Is there a reason for this. Is it because my computer may not be fast enough to run it at the right speed. Also, I had a problem with the sound being at a different pace. Just wondering what my problem is. The picture is great though.

Okay..I'm having the same problem as above.

I got the full download - But when I open it with VLC player..It plays fine for a bit then cuts off...the audio still plays but the video freezes every 10 seconds.

NOW..I downloaded a codec pack to play this in WMP & DivX.

But....It plays real slow..The audio gets off track because the video is playing in a mini slow motion mode I guess..

How do I fix this?

The only other HD game I have downloaded was the Bears game..and it worked fine.

Appreciate ya.

I downloaded this torrent when it first came it. I don't have the 4 files on my Hard Drive anymore but I know he uses a different frame rate then the usual 23.976 or 29.97 you are probably use to seeing.

I believe the Frame Rate was 59.94. so in your encoder software you will have to deal with the non-standard Frame Rate when encoding to DVD or you will have sync issues.

I wanted 1 file instead of the 4 you get with this torrent so I re-downloaded another torrent yesterday.
