He cannot beat a jam at the LOS. He is too small. If you miss him, he is gone because he is fast. The book on him will always be pound on him early and get in his head. Hit him hard, hit him often, he will fold like a house of cards.
You have a great point, Hos. We should put our most physical corner out there which is still TNew. For the first 5 plays of the game, his job will be to hit him as hard as he possibly can every single play. Make sure he has help deep to TNew doesn't have to worry about giving up a TD if he misses the jam.
The rest of the game just go back into our regular coverages but maybe every 5-10 plays, just smack him as hard as you possibly can again with deep help.
The other thing is wait until he lines up at trips in the slot and if he comes across the middle anywhere close to the 5-yard zone have one of the LBs hit him as hard as they possibly can. Football is a physical game and if you want to send a pipsqueak across the middle to take advantage of his speed, I want to make him pay for not showing up with a "NFL body".
