In this pic you clearly see Harris has the ball and the Ref has not blown the whistle yet.

Watch the replay shown after this one, as Harris is falling out of bounds. He's juggling the ball between his forearms and doesn't gain control until he gets the last foot in. And maybe not even then.

The third angle (from the Cowboys' end of the field). See Harris' double-clutch when he's already a full yard out of bounds.

Guess that evens out that bad call against Demarcus Ware for being offsides as he caused a fumble by Brett Favre.

Ware was not offsides.

The call and whistle should have gone the other way, but they didn't. Good teams, no matter whether it is us or someone else, overcome bad calls, poor plays and even turnovers.

A good team can overcome a call just like that one. Green Bay could have stiffened up and stopped us.

A good team could even overcome marching down the field, throwing a gimme touchdown pass to salt away the game only to gift wrap an interception and walk away empty handed. Only a good team could do that.

We grew lax in this game and allowed GB to get back into it. Let's say that GB scores on that next series taking full advantage of the turnover. Do the Cowboys then lay down? Or, do we get an even greater sense of urgency and put 50 points on them? Does TO get upset and level Harris on a block that frees up Barber to take it to the end zone on the 3rd and 1 play? Does the popcorn guy get upset over the turnover and over salt the fateful box that TO pours into his face eventually blinding TO and thus putting him on the sideline so that Stanbach has to replace him and then Stanbach goes buck wild rocketing him on a career that makes him a first ballot hall of famer? (intentional run-on sentence)

We won. I'll leave the moral victories to the losers.

What if, could have been, should have been....whatever.

We're 11-1 and I'm enjoying it to the fullest.

How about someone get some video footage of our punter getting run into as well as roughed up every game without a call....that would also keep our drive alive and we may score again.

The whistle blew on this play so it is a moot point.

It's part of the game.

Packers got robbed on teh call but there is no doubt in my mind that even if Green Bay would have scored, the Cowboys would have just had to play a little more catch-up and they would have done it. Packers NEVER stopped the Cowboys defensively. The Packers could not stop the Cowboys passing attack.

Packers better be using these next 6 weeks to figure out a new scheme because the one they showed Thursday night needs to be shredded.

That was clearly GB's ball. Refs screwed up there.

The proper call to make on that play should have been PI on Harris.

exactly, as much as I hate the Pats, and like the Colts..............that game they played this year was onesided as far as ref calls go. Indy was getting all the calls, and for a change, the Pats were getting none. The Pats still overcame the poor officiating and won the game......NO EXCUSES.....

Maybe if Favre would have played like Favre instead of Eli or Harrington, then the Packers wouldn't have been down 27-10 when he left the game for good.

Sure the Cowboys may have gotten a break on that play.....

but,

Ware was not offsides

Jennings committed Offensive PI on that out play where he got tons of YAC

Did they even call holding on the Packers OL Thursday?

You have to be an over the top homer to deny it.
The Packers got robbed on that 3rd down spot later in the game when they were out of challenges. Homerism isnt the motivation in my case, I just see Harris juggling the ball in the video in that link. Both as he's going out, and after, FWIW.

It was a bad call. The game is over. Let's move on. Bad calls happen in nearly every game. In the Patriots/Eagles game Randy Moss was called for pass interference that negated a touchdown, and there was nothing remotely resembling pass interference there. The Pats ended up having to kick a field goal. That play could have directly affected the outcome of the game, since it was a close one. I don't think the bad call we're talking about in the Dallas/Green Bay game made any difference.

When I saw the play live, and in slow motion during the game, I thought we got away with a break there. I didn't look to see if Harris was juggling the ball after he got his 2nd foot in bounds or not.

My question is that if the ruling that forward progress was stopped, that means that TO was still in bounds, thus the clock should have continued to run. Does anyone recall if that is what happened up until the point that McCarthy challenged the play? That would clarify if the refs really rulled in that manner or not.

it was a makeup for the bad offsides call earlier in the game that kept a packer drive alive and got them 3 points. cowboys got 3 points on the drive with the al harris stip.

Exactly.

I said this the other day.

We got a call on our first series....but they did too.

Not only that, but we also had another no call on McBriar. I swear, teams are gonna soon find out that you can just go up and kill him and the refs won't call it.

Come on guys! Michael Jordan PUSHED OFF for the game winning shot in the 1998 finals against the Utah Jazz! You can CLEARLY see it! Jazz got screwed! Just as the Pack should have won against Dallas, the Jazz should have been champs not the Bulls! Refs wanted the Bulls...uh...Cowboys to win!

With all the calls the Boys got screwed on over the years, why are you harping on this call?? Got a problem with us catching a break for a change??

The refs made the call, get over it...

No kidding! What the crap is up with so many people trying to nitpick every damn fault with this team every time we WIN another game?!

Whether that call is made or not or whether pass interference is called or not(the 2nd one), I think we win the game. I don't feel the refs owe us, or anyone else, make up calls. Just want there to be a feeling of impartiality felt by most fans. Hard to feel that way if you're the Cowboys, Oilers or Seahawks and have the Steelers as your opponent.
