It is troubling that he doesn't make plays on the ball for even that scheme but that's his best fit. Look for a Tampa 2 team to grab him early round 3. I do not think he goes before then.

For us he is an awful fit. We ask our safeties to man cover.

If you youtube Taylor Mays you'll find a myriad of highlights but they will shock you in there lack of plays on the ball. He has a ton of good hits but many times the WRs hang onto long gains. Short story there is he was beaten... many times by non-NFL caliber WRs.

I hope Washington or Philly draft him.

There are schemes that force our FS to man cover... recall RW31 facing TE's.

Alan Ball did plenty of that as well when he was asked to come in and play for Ken Hamlin.
