Yup, Flashy, sexy, pretty, fast and shiny.

What we need is ugly, mean, narly and mobile. Build me the front 5 first.

I nice car body is worthless unless you have the power under the hood. Football is won and lost up front.

This is the deepest draft in awhile. Alot of the talented juniors are coming out. There's going to be some great value in the 3rd and 4th rounds.

Javier Arenas would probably be a top 20 pick in most years. He might get pushed back into the late 2nd with all the talent coming out. Plus you figure there's going to be about 5-6 QB's that get picked in rounds 1 and 2.

speaking of Javier

he reminds me of Brandon Flowers

but with return abilities

McCluster is my guy. Forget how small he is -- he's just a big play machine. He did it every week in the best conference in the country.

ole miss alum here so I have watched a ton of Run DMC. He is unreal. Before the Cotton Bowl this year, the OK. State coaches said they have never scouted a player as fast as dexter, ever.

I actually went to the Cotton Bowl where I saw him destroy my OSU Cowboys. He had over 200 yards rushing. Any time he left I breathed a sigh of relief. That guy is a stud. He seemed to go down relatively easily if someone could get a hand on him, but that was rare. I would love for us to get him.

McCluster is the guy I hope Dallas looks at seriously in the 2nd round... He's a serious deep threat with the ability to line up in the backfield causing matchup nightmares. He's a good punt and kickoff returner.

He has some experience in the return game, but not much in the last few seasons.

I don't think he's the answer to that question for the Cowboys.

After seeing what Felix Jones, Chris Johnson, and Percy Harvin have shown in the last year or two, I think if Dallas desires McCluster, then they might just have to trade up from the 27th overall pick - never mind the 2nd round.

The speedy playmakers are in now folks. This is especially true if Reggie Bush has a big day in Super Bowl XLIV.

The Giants might take him at pick 15.

I seriously doubt he goes 1st round, but I don't believe he'll be there in the 2nd when we pick. Especially with the week he's having in Mobile.

FWIW, Drew Boylhart (thehuddlereport.com) rates McCluster as a 1st rd talent. Drew believes that he's incredibly smart and can impact games in a special way. By that, he means that he doesn't need to be on the field for an entire game to impact it. He's a special player that when he steps on the field all eyes will be on him, because he's so fast and so quick that once he gets the ball in his hands he'll take it to the house. Drew thinks that his natural position is at RB, and that he's the most naturally gifted RB in the draft. However, he won't impact at RB, because his body type is not the type that can add the muscle necessary to be a NFL RB. So, he'll probably shine as a ST/WR. Drew raves about this kid's potential, but believes he's injury prone because he's small and can't bulk up. Right now, he's a jack of all trades type player, but once he settles into the position of a KR/PR he'll dominate. Drew believes that Devin Hester messed up his ability to dominate the NFL by insisting on being a WR, and this kid may miss his true calling if he does the same. Drew believes that he'll be best used as a KR/PR that will scare the crap out of opponents who have to kick him the ball. If he stays as a full time KR/PR, and just parttime 3rd WR, he'll impact every game he's in. But if he insists on being a fulltime WR, he'll just be average/good WR instead of a great impact ST player that can win games for you. Drew says that this kid is magic, because he can win/decide games while being on the field a minimal amount of times.

I don't agree with that. Hester was tried at WR in college, and he couldn't do it. He just doesn't have good hands. McCluster was one of the best WRs on his team when he split out. And his QB said he was incredibly intelligent at making adjustments and understanding what the offense was trying to do.

I'd make him a slot WR like Welker and just wear teams out.

KR/PR and slot WR works for me!

Don't get me wrong. Drew loves this kid as a WR also. He believes he's fearless going over the middle, and will catch anything thrown in his vicinity. He just believes that he's such a special player that he doesn't need to force the issue of trying to become a #1 WR if it will take away from his ability to impact on ST. He believes Devin's insistence of becoming a WR has hurt his ability to impact games and he doesn't want that same thing to happen to this kid. But, if he can do both, then great.

I watched some ole miss games this year, and this guy really stood out. Teams said that was the one guy they had to stop, but yet they couldn't do it. And hes a workhorse too. Can take the ball 20-30 times a game and still keep coming.

It was amazing watching how fast and agile he is. He's got great hands too. Like some posters already said, they would constantly put him outside and he would run nice routes and has amazing hands

He's simply a playmaker that i would LOVE for us to draft. We need to go OT in the first round, but if we are able to move up in the second round for him, i think it would be a great pick. He' a gamechanger. Percy harvin but quicker

Exactly.

And he's coached by Houston Nutt, so Jerry can get the real inside scoop on his work ethic, personality, everything.
