Like every year, someone gets a major ***** for some guy and all the sudden this far underweight guys is the best thing since Barry Sanders.
People are already trying to compare him to Desean Jackson and there is no freaking way this guy sees the 1st round and would be absolutely lucky to see the bottom half of the second round.
He is a running back that people think will convert to a WR. (WAY TO freaking small for a RB) WR usually take the longest time to develop. Especially if they are converting from a different position. Combine that with the fact that he is 165lbs. These people are dreaming.
Holy over-reaction. No one ever said he's the best thing since Barry Sanders or even indicated anything of that nature.
And, again, the exact same things were said about Jackson when he was coming out cause of his size and he's a real good threat.
Will this kid be? Maybe. Maybe not. But people can't just say "No he won't" and act like they're some sort of authority on it. If you, or I, were so darn good at being 'right' about talent from year to year we wouldn't be sitting here discussing it on a message board. We'd be getting paid to do it.
And something tells me, I don't know why, but I doubt you thought DeSean Jackson would get it done in the NFL either, before seeing what he's done. You probably dismissed any shot he had prior to the draft.
I mean I'll admit I didn't think he'd get it done cause I figured people would be drafting him to be their main WR and I just didn't think he would be able to do that. I've been proven wrong.
But I dont think, with this kid, it's about drafting the kid to be the #1 option at WR. I think he'll get drafted to be moved around, and used in different ways, and I think that kind of thing can work for him.
I'm not even saying I want Dallas to take him. I've been very clear, for months, that what I want most this year is a playmaking FS and O-Line help.
So stop over-reacting like your some sort of scouting genius cause you're about as good at it as most of the rest of the folks here.
