...Parcells didn't achieve all that success by being a dummy. He knows what the deal is with players like Johnson, the cancerous effect those guys can have on a locker room. And Parcells has declared unequivocally that he's not interested in dealing with that type of player at this late stage in his life.


"I don't want thugs and hoodlums on the team," Parcells said when asked what sort of players he would be after for next season. "I really don't. I don't want bad-character guys. I don't want problem children."

"Thugs and hoodlums"? LOL! What is Parcells afraid of, a drive-by shooting breaking out in the end zone because of pass inference? Parcells didn't want TO either and look what an asset he is.

If Parcells doesn't want Chad, what about Dallas? Attitude issues aside, wouldn't Chad Johnson be a nice complement to Owens next year? Pass coverage would be all over the place trying to defend against both of them. No?

If we waste any first, second, or third round picks on a WR and I'll beat the crap out of Wade, Ireland, Jerry, and I'll even drive to Miami and beat the crap out of Parcells too.

Then get ready to do so because everyone but you wants a WR on day 1. Our WR depth sucks, as does our CB depth.

In my opinion, I want to see CB, WR, and ILB on day 1.

standbackandwatch has all the tools needed to be at least a solid #2 and if we are lucky a #1. he has the size, speed, wiggle, instinct and hands. not sure about his route running. if he puts it together we have a great player on our hands imho. austin is a stiff, hurd is a crayton clone.

How do you know all this about Stanback? You been using him in Madden? We haven't even seen him on the field. IF he hasn't made enough progress to even play in the Commander game, I think the experiment is over. The guy really needed some game exposure and they didn;t even activate him!
