I think people need to give Ogletree time to develop. Just a month ago Ray Sherman said he is not ready to be a featured WR. Coaches say these things for a reason. Usually it means they are not ready. I don't understand the rush people put on young players.BraveHeartFan;3295078 said:Possibly that is the reason. Maybe the idea would be to have Kevin get more and more of Roy's snaps if he doesn't shape up and start making more plays.
I just hope that, in the long run, nothing that is done in the draft will keep them from seeing exactly what they've got in KO. I was really starting to like that kid by the end of the year.

It would be pretty exciting if we drafted Ship, but you calling Ogletree a slouch like it and that Romo can make a nobody like him into something.. Romo isn't the reason Ogletree made this team, the dude worked his butt off and when given the chance always came in and took advantage of the few opportunities he had. Trust me, he will get better and better. Can't wait to see what Ogletree has to offer in 2010

What this team desparately needs is offensive line depth. We could go into next season as-is at every other position and be fine in my eyes. We need to protect Tony and give him room to connect with who we have.

I doubt it.

Miles Austin
Tony Romo
Bradie James
Has their development into top notch players gone completely un-noticed? Yet none of them were rushed. Ogletree doesn't have an expiration date that is ending in a year or two. What exactly is the rush?
I have never understood that.

CanuckCowboysFan;3295403 said:Mccluster's combine 40 time really upset me. I was expecting him to run a 4.3, not a 4.5, especially for a guys his size. I do think though he'd be basically impossible to cover in the slot and an adequate return man.
