Call me crazy, but I think it's a lot more likely that a seventh-round, second year, part time defensive tackle didn't know the celebration rules as well as one of the most celebrated attention ****** in history...

I find it hard to believe that the coaches told everyone about the rules except Ratliff. His draft status has nothing to do with it. He knew the rules, he went down the field and pretended to do CPR, and was flagged. Same penalty as TO got. Yet for TO you are pissed for Ratliff you are making excuses. Thats a double standard

Oh, it was stupid on Ratliff's part as well, but yes, I will cut more slack to Ratliff for the reasons I mentioned before.

Can there be levels of piss-ed-ness?

Like if my old dog kept crapping on my carpet, and humping stuffed animals, and would never stop, I'd be pissed. But I also have a puppy who keeps crapping all over the place, but not humping stuffed animals, and I'm pissed, but not AS pissed because he's a puppy.

It is not a double standard. One person celebrated to draw attention to himself knowing that it would bring a penalty, the other was celebrating a great play with a TEAMMATE, like teamates do, join in together and congratulate, not bring all the attention on oneself.

Your right stupid is as stupid does. We are talking college grads right? :laugh2:

Ratliff was wrong, TO is wrong and hopefully it has created a situation where others do not get stupid on us like these 2 did.
