Interesting. My thing is did Tony laugh cause he pointed out that he was open on the very next play or was this 3 or 4 or 5 plays down the line, where he wasn't open in those, and then the first one he's open in he says he is and Romo laughed?

I really wish I were in these meetings, and at that complex, so I'd know exactly how much of the reported stuff is real and how much of it is total bs.

If all Owens cared about was winning, he wouldnt constantly find himself in the middle of these controversies. He doesnt create them all, but he does create most of them. True "winners" dont do some of the junk he does, they dont try to divide teams. They find ways to make teams gel. Owens doesnt do this.

regarding the laughing & such... i'm not defending the complete lack of leadership here..

but romo is a bit if a cut up and i could see him throwing to Witten INTENTIONALLY instead of a wide-open TO as a sarcastic joke. Of course TO wouldn't handle that well (or realize the joke) hence the laughing in practice.

that said we need REAL COACHES for romo, a real GM, jerry to SHUT UP AND MARKET and TO be released for starters.

This Romo crap is exactly why we need a new HC! You never once heard about this kind of behavior/attitude coming from Romo when Parcells was running the ship.

He needs to get his head back in the game and put all the other stuff to the side.

Everything I hear coming out seems to correlate back to either Romo or the coaches. Leaving just one with an investment made that makes them too high to get rid of. We fix the coaching staff now or get lost in this Romo obscurity forever.

The guy just doesn't seem like he's going to learn on his own, so we bring someone in to teach him.

One major point to remember is how much time was Romo given to survey the field?

I saw a QB rushed often and became jumpy & started to look for checkdown help immediately.
