Video: Who gets the blame: Romo or Austin?

Just watched the video and I disagree.

Accountability isn't about lambasting teammates in public. That's what Terrell Owens does and he is now in Siberia paying for it.

Accountability is suffering the wrath of your teammates and coaches "privately", in some form or another because you let them down.

No kidding.

As I'm sure dc heard, Galloway was making a huge deal out of this today, claiming that a source told him Tony was at fault and everyone including the coaches owed Miles a huge apology because of the beating he'd taken this week from the fans and media.

But then Mosley just as adamantly claimed that his source told him it wasn't Tony' fault and Miles made the mistake.

Either way, who freaking cares? It was an option route and they didn't see it the same way. End of story. Nothing good comes out of singling out a player here.
^^This. Screw the media. I wish the Cowboys would just focus solely on football, and less how people (including the media) perceive them. It's all about winning.

When listening to GAC today, Matt Mosley said his sources said it was Tony Romo's fault. Randy Galloway claimed his sources said it was Miles Austin's fault. And Brian Broadus claimed some of his sources said that even the Coaching Staff was confused at who's fault it was.
IF this is true, IF, this is a huge problem, and means the coaching staff is nothing but a pathetic joke.

Let it die on the table? You're the one starting this thread and demanding "accountability". :laugh2:

Yeah. Because Miles came out today and didn't let the issue die on the table.

He opened it up by not giving a direct answer to a question he's been avoiding all week.

Gotta spell everything out for this guy, lol.

OK. So if that's the case and these guys talked about it this week and it's a dead issue then why in the world would Miles Austin give that answer today?

Why not just give a direct answer?

Why leave any room for sugeestion that it wasn't him or Romo at fault, but that it was just an option route and they weren't on the same page?

I am asking very simple questions and all I get back is that 'it's none of the fans or media's business', lol.

Miles looks like he tired of the guessing game BS with this offense.

Garrett looks like he could care less that his QB just threw a pick and that his WR is unsure of why the heck a convo is needed.

And I like this discussion.

Because on the last play of the game Miles look none too happy that he's not even looked at by Romo after torching his CB and the ball falls to the turf while the Cowboys lose.

They showed a sideline shot of Austin trying to explain to Romo after the pick of why he did what he did.It looked as though Romo wasn't all that interested in Austin's explanation. As far as who was at fault, who really knows for sure.I bet Romo has his opinion and Austin has his and both are different. The bad thing about these type of little incidents is that they can morph from a simple cut into something very serious(media involvement). If Romo and Austin come out with matching stories or one of them takes the blame we're not having endless discussions about it.

He "opened it up" by saying he doesn't want to talk about it and we should all move on to Kansas City?

Oh, that sorry Miles. He's practically another T.O.

No, that is not my answer.

My response is that "Accountability" doesn't mean whacking your teammate over the head for everyone to see.

Accountability is so much more than that.

I think the more important thing is whether both men understand who exactly was at fault and how to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Personally, besides Jason Garrett, I think the problem is that Tony Romo doesn't have the chemistry with these guys yet.

Yeah. He opened it up.

You don't answer any of my questions.

You just come back with questions which are all about moving on and not trying to blame one single guy and what does it matter after the fact and who cares as long as they know what happened and it's ok that they are sketchy with their answers to questions which they have been avoiding for three days and blah blah blah.

You and Wade. Two peas...

If he gave a direct answer he would be closing the door.

By not giving one he opens the issue up for discussion.

Which is all we are doing here. So it's not a big deal considering this is a forum for discussion, lol.

A Red Zone interception is hardly a "mole hill." It was extremely damaging not to come away with points on that drive.

A red zone interception from the last game, 2 days before the next game is smaller than a Mole hill. This conversation, albeit contrived, is a fluffy mountain.

Thats what I heard him say too.

Galloway said he had better sources too than Mosley.

This is weird.

Kind of has me befuddled and I am searching for answers within my mind.

But it seems Miles Austin spoke to the media after the Bucs game about the plays in the game which was already over?

I was under the impression that once the game was over he didn't talk about that stuff because it was, well...over.

At 1:38 of this video he even goes into detail about the name of the route he ran in which he caught a pass and broke some tackles for a TD?

Can someone tell me what the heck is going on here.

In the video today he specifically says he doesn't talk about stuff that is over with and then in this video from after the Bucs game he's blabbing away about what route is was and how the other guys looked great and all sorts of stuff.

****. Wait a second.

I think I got it.

Did you ever see that movie 'Invasion of the Body Snatchers'...

I want my old Miles Austin back!!!

I see a big difference btween talking about a game that you just got finished playing and talking about a game that you played 4 days ago.

Some might see another difference in the two interviews.
