obviously i'm from outside the country so don't tend to know the sports reporters but did anyone know this guy before this whole thing? or has he just made a name for himself? not that i think a journalist would try and cause a furore just to make it about him and get an extra few dollars when it comes time to talk about a new contract

He's a fringe local guy who is clawing for attention in a big market with a family to feed. I am sure that colors his willingness to act out to get that attention.

I'd be fine with the media pointing out ACTUAL issues Wade has with his tactics. Find out what exactly he is doing wrong other than not answering media questions as the media desires. Wade is clearly an optimist, that is hardly a reason to bash him. But no one is perfect and where there are real changes that could be made affecting the team then focus on that.

All in all I'd just like the media to do their job.
