I’m from the north, but this is basically accurate. College football is HUUUUUUUGE in the south. HUUUUGE

College football? High School football is HUGE in the south. Texas alone, Katy just just finished spending $72 million for their HS Stadium and it "only" seats 12,000 people, doesn't even crack the Top 30 for seating capacity for a HS football stadium in Texas. There are some Texas High School's with 20k seating.......20k seating for a HIGH SCHOOL!
